Yes, Viral Attacks in interlock are considered special moves, creating a zero-sum situation if they hit . If they don't hit, and the other person used a normal attack, the normal attack can still go through. And the silver bullet animation...
ooooh good find. I just fixed this - duration is now 20 seconds, reuse timer 90 seconds, just like the Martial Arts and Firearms damage buffs.

Are you talking about the massive timer on them? That's part of what we added to allow them to stay active through hardlines. They are now on 8 hour timers, and if you play more than 8 hours in a row... you deserve a /salute

That ability was bugged for a long time, but I think it's been fixed now. It should work exactly like the 3 to the left of it (Calm Mind/Body, Empty Mind, and Consistency) except that it works on ballistic damage resistance.
I don't think it will be in today, but in the next patch.

Yup, you'll still get all the messages about what your abilities do to other people, or what theirs do to you. You just won't get the constant spam that says "Building Security uses an ability."
My favorite part: Non-specific Ability use chat messages have been removed. Translation: no more "HCFrog uses an ability" spam in the system window.

This is a bug, which got fixed today and should be in an upcoming patch (possibly not the next patch, but soon).
Okay... the reason why this was done: The bonuses on those clothes were pretty out of whack for the level requirements. Level 16 clothes that give you +10 to an ability... I guess they were just that way because they were crafting clothes....

Ahhh thank you for the feedback about the mission timer. The mission timers are a set value, but I could add a stop halfway down which would double the time you have. And add a little more danger getting to the mission area
