Yes, and as 9mmfu said earlier; "... because of the speed with which the server runs through your combat a player would almost never click in the small window of opportunity between the end of one round and the beginning of the next..."
The thing is, 'not tactic switching' is not supported by the combat system. Edit: Unless of course you spend the entire combat phase using only one tactic.

S'right. To make any fixes to the world - including the 'invisible walls' and floating objects - you need to rebundle the entire district and then everyone has to download those files before they can play.
SOE generally wont give anything back because they have no way to prove you had it to begin with. This tends to apply no matter how much proof a player supplies.
The exploit is when you switch tactics during a single round in order to gain the benefits of both. For example, let's say you get your dazed and hit the FAR button while still on Speed. You get the benefit of Speed's 15% Accuracy for your...
Hm, I didn't mean to suggest that acceptance by the players should be the only qualification. Respectability, constructiveness, fairness, all the other qualities of a good Moderator come first.
I think it would be quite different if the Moderators were openly known to the community, perhaps even elected. For instance, imagine if someone who wanted to become a moderator had to post a thread asking for wether or not people would be...
It should be possible to fix this by making your active ability selection only update at the beginning of a round. So you are free to hit tactics buttons as often as you like during a round but once a new round starts the only tactic that...

You know, I've had quite the opposite experience with these items. I remember one time in particular I was fighting a large group of gang members on a rooftop in Westview. I was getting hit by enough free fire that my coat was constantly a...
All your stats max at 30 and the first 5 points don't count. So when you max your Focus you'll be getting a 50% bonus to your Ballistic Accuracy. If you set your stats how you describe, an MA would beat you if you were using a Martial Arts...
It may be useful to spawn more missions in those buildings and see if the NPCs leave. If that area seems to have a higher than normal chance of it happening you could send the repro case to 9mmfu or someone and hope it helps.
The idea is that machine programs (including exiled ones) all carry out certain actions based on their purpose. Most of these cannot be seen, or are imperceptable or too obvious to be seen. Occasionally though, a bluepill may spot a progra...
Just to pick out two points; I don't believe Lupines were ever supposed to be shapeshifters in MxO and we cannot drive cars because MxO has no Physics Engine. Now go play.
Next time it happens try double-clicking your tactic button to be sure you're attacking and not blocking. Sometimes roll-outs or other combat technicalities will change your active tactic without being asked to but the icon on your hotbar...
I really liked the start of this event, it's interesting to see that Machinists react to orders with noteably less efficiency than they always pride themselves on having. The Pill Search portion was less compelling but still clever and loo...
You know, this still fits with a theory I voiced at an earlier event on Syntax. Seems to me the General captured Morpheus on his way to 01 and has been keeping him prisoner all this time. He used him to create that Sim but for whatever rea...
Well, if you'll pardon the cliche, that was very interesting. The simple reason for (original) Morpheus' knowledge is that he was tutored by the Oracle. It's possible of course that there's something deeper and more complex going on but fo...
While I never 'bunny-hop' it's interesting to note that if I use a flip (direction jump) in combat it's because I'm an MA trying to get the tackle on someone first. If my safety is compromised as a Sniper I just HJ out of trouble or root f...
I don't mind it so much as it gives us light to see the Agent by and a suggestion of invulnerability. Rarebit is just amazing with screenshots, I'm constantly being blown away =D
