Is anyone else getting major problems with the forums? That is, besides the usual ones. I'm getting images vanish at random, missing stylesheets (links turn black on a black background, etc) and even some JavaScript functions stop working so I can't put italics in my posts.
It's not my browser, it's not my computer.
One thing I've noticed is that occasionally I'll see a request to maintenance.station.sony.com or something, which tells me that there are missing files and my browser's being redirected to their pathetic apology pages.

Apparently they know about the issues, but meh the slowness is annoying as hell.
Let alone losing my PM box randomly sucks too.

It gets like this on the weekends once in a while. I suspect it might have to do with there being more traffic to the servers than during the week.

I've honestly never seen it do this before, and I'm on the forums every day. Maybe the odd image missing. But right now I'm counting all bar three of the posting GUI images gone, the whole header bar including the MxO logo, the images at the bottom of the page and all the non-visited links are black. On a black background.
And high traffic isn't an excuse. They should expect it! Yet another in a long list of shortcomings from our glorious Web Presence team. Gargh!

Problems are here as well. I've been getting white backgrounds with images for all the SOE MMOs as a banner collage at the top, or a broken page with elements of the forums and advertising for other SOE MMOs overlapped.
}:-P Personally, I suspect the forum designers have been over-written by the Machines }:-P

Eh-heheheh.
I've seen those MMO logos as well, every now and then. I hope they're not going to be a permanent feature at the top of the forums. Last thing we need is more stuff clogging it up.

I got the white page myself but everything came back bit by bit as I viewed more pages.

I had the white page a couple minutes ago, yet another problem to add to the pile I guess.

Maybe they should just start again from scratch. You know, like hire a professional!
*Seethes for a few seconds.*
It seems to working again now. That is, back to its usual level of mediocrity.

I think one thing that's helping me avoid the blaring whiteness here in Firefox at the moment is that I'm using Chuui's old custom style sheet. It's a lot easier on the eyes than the default black background layout, too. The thread about it is here
