MxO has been lacking in what we see since launch. I've talked about quite a few things we don't see in game that we should. Boats! Any chance we can get some boats at the various docks? Just anchored not moving and then maybe later some moving out in the harbour.

Dear Devs,
I would like to be able to get into a car a drive around MegaCity.
Plzkthnxbai.

Drivable cars = no. Animated boats like helicopters and random cars in the streets is a lot less far fetched.

I'm still up for drivable vehicles and have been since before launch. I've read all the arguments and personally I think they are rather thin. It would just be one more thing any player could do should they choose. I would rather drive around the city then stand next to a hardline with nothing to do. However in this thread I'm just bringing up some of the things that I feel should have been in the original release such as: Buses in the traffic flow, maybe an actual bus station, police station, fire station and vehicles representing said stations. Boats would be nice to see as well concidering all the surrounding water and docks. Other air traffic and an actual airport would be wonderful as well.
An airport would be wonderful, for reaching a new district.
new archive?
a cowboy, western themed construct'd be cool. for all levels.
...well if we're going for a new construct (which I'm not counting on, but hey can dream, right?), I'd love to get one that has demons/ghosts in it. I mean, how many creepy ghost stories are out there?
Ya know what else I'd like to see, would be npc's that look different when they're fighting. We have lupines & bloodsuckers (maybe a few others), but they never change their appearance. You could argue it out about the vamps, say they don't change because they're not supposed to (although I disagree on that), but the lupines are supposed to be shapeshifters. Why don't we ever see one that actually looks like a wolf? Or even a 'wolfman'? If they could just change during combat, or even simply when they do their special attack, it would be more like you're fighting the real thing. Not just another npc.
My two cents

Just to pick out two points; I don't believe Lupines were ever supposed to be shapeshifters in MxO and we cannot drive cars because MxO has no Physics Engine. Now go play.
a beautiful idea, from a beautiful woman, no?
yes, a "construct" I made up for RP so when I jacked out I didnt jack out, I went there was a city of evil.
one of the first "hell" constructs. which would be cool to see.

Well, add a physics engine to the list then. . .Is that the "Things that will never be introduced" list, by any chance? Because I have one of those lists, too. And it's very, very, very long.

we dont need a physics gen, this isnt Half Life.
the wall attacks from cr1 would be nice.
oh! how about a description for multi fighting!

Just to pick out two points; I don't believe Lupines were ever supposed to be shapeshifters in MxO....I didn't mean to imply that mxo had planned on making them shapeshifters in the game. What I was getting at is that they are based on werewolves, which makes sense given the explanation in the movies of the exiles the Merovingian collected. The legend of werewolves is almost invariably linked to shapeshifting. So.....if the matrix has these exiles, who are well-documented in legend, it would just make sense for them to be able to do the things that they should do according to legend. I know it won't happen, there are too many other things that need to be done. I'm merely pointing out something that has always kind of bugged me about them. They just look like normal people, the only way you can really tell them apart visually is their clothing. At least the blooddrinkers look....well....vampy
The idea is that machine programs (including exiled ones) all carry out certain actions based on their purpose. Most of these cannot be seen, or are imperceptable or too obvious to be seen. Occasionally though, a bluepill may spot a program carrying out some action that seems fantastic or strange or outright impossible. In these situations a person's mind glosses over the worst bits and makes the best possible sense of what remains. The memories that are left over go on to become tales of 'werewolves', 'ghosts', 'vampires' and such.
Just because a legend claims a certain ability does not mean that ability ever existed or that it exists as the bluepill imagines it does. Perhaps Lupines as we know them have some ability that to a bluepill would resemble shapeshifting but to us looks quite different (as redpills are more perceptive of that sort of thing). Or perhaps they just plain aren't using their old abilities - maybe out of a wish to remain unnoticed by the Machines.

Hmmm, you make a valid point, although I don't agree with it. I think it either scenario is possible....I just happen to believe mine is more likely
. But I've already said my thing so I won't keep hounding on it.
Back to what 867 said, yeah I had an rp in a construct like that too, lol mine was based more on the classic Hades though....which would also be cool, just not as cool as demons & ghosts

The second iteration of the Matrix was supposed to be evil, hence why it had lupines and vampires and the Merovingian.
