Operatives,
Although this program's outmoded function may appear useful in this case, you must exercise great caution in dealing with programs whose original purpose no longer exists.
Efficiently,
Agent Gray

looked like lots of fun. i hope we hear more about this

I love that Bouncer! "We cater to different clientele here" hehehe ^^
Well makes a change not persecuting a program that has fallen beyond their comprehension, war has such inexpected effects today the Mechs play Hypocrit rather than executioner...but the biggest surprise is that tiny inkling of imagination they may be showing.....maybe just maybe a program has got a purpose beyond the obvious duh duh duuuuuhhhh!

Very interesting, seeing the functions those exiles had. Sometimes we forget that there are programs behind everything in the Matrix, even the little things, and that many of them are sentient.
Also, I hope this is a step towards more tolerance by the Machines for members of their own species...for those who might not be considered necessary anymore, but who are still sentient beings. I know that some of my fellow Machinists believe that all exiles deserve deletion, but I disagree. And when the Machines delete one of their own kind because a newer or more efficient version comes out, that's really no better than when our human ancestors junked the sentient Machines they owned in favor of better models.
I do understand that there is limited power, and that exiles that don't contribute to Machine society can put a strain on it. But I have to believe there's a better solution than automatically marking them for deletion.

))Great Work Eckow!!!
You've Made All Machinists and TRU Extremely Proud!!

((The DOE has the 'Navy' thing all set. The Transom even has a Science Officer!
))
Fantastic! Great to know that I can take leave and not worry about the simulation... let's not even go there. Fantastic job to everyone.

Thats just like every other single event.
Meeting.
Kill nps.
Bye bye.

((*Sigh* First people complain about event with just talk, then people complain about shooty events, now it seems that a bit of talk as part of a storyline then the execution of a plan i.e. the shooty bit, is not good enough. How about giving us solutions instead of your problems?))
What is it that Eckow had to work out? I couldn't see any problems in the LE images...
Yes - very efficient indeed. May AMRadio serve the Machines well. We humans have a special knack for finding use in "obsolete technology". Small things like this should not be so carelessly tossed aside in the future.
It was I and Vinia of the Tetragrammaton who first cracked the intrusive puzzle code that was sent to the Machinist HQ by the exile BookWyrm. The encrytpion was ... fairly easy to decipher once we figured out the flow of the message. After a meeting with the exile he gave us information that led up to the finding of AMRadio.
Not to worry Blinketz - we will take special care of the "Pretty Lady" and see that no harm comes to her.
((I think it was a fun event. Been a long time since Gray has even shown up on Syntax and did something with us. We where itching for something to happen ... eventually.))
