Would be pretty cool to have, doesn't even have to have a box like the MOTD, it could be automatically entered in System chat or Faction chat or whatever, or even a faction broadcast.
Some other MMOs I have played allow you to type a message on the actual 'faction/guild' window, though I doubt that particular idea would be possible due to the database on MxO.
A great idea. They pretty much need to revamp the faction details. A faction leader should be able to boot anyone in anyones crew and see their crews also.
the passing of information is critical in keeping a large faction working together. I wonder if the devs are knocking their heads figuring out this stuff?

I'm all for this idea, with factions, sometimes information does need to get out and we're not always aware of every member's name to send an e-mail out to each individual. I'd love to see a better faction interface altogether.
Yep, faction control panel overhaul FTW. The current system is .. lacking, to say the least. The devs have said the controls are as minimalist as they are because of the belief that factions are sort of as they are in the movies... but that's quite old now and even if that idea held water back when MxO first started out, we've surely advanced beyond that now. Besides, as has been noted before, this is a game and tools to make the game aspect better need to go at times supercede things that arbitrarily exist because of the source material.
MOTD's are what faction sites are for in the "members only" section. Faction leaders lacking this little tool, should try it sometime, it works wonders.
Sadly, there are invariably those who don't check the faction sites or forums. While we may do all we can to encourage them to, an in-game MOTD would really get the point across.
