Regardless of what the Devs wish they wanted, do you really think they set up these servers to handle at least 1/10 the servers WoW has? We have lag and crashing with the population as of now. Lith knew WoW numbers were unattainable.
This game was never meant to be on the same scale as WoW.

Yeah, you're right. However, it's something that would need to be sacrificed if a merge would to occur. Personally, I would sacrifice just for the fact of having more players to kill and interact with.
