I dunno if its been said, or touched on or anything, but has anyone ever thought of putting a level limit or something so where you dont get a CQ from killing a player 20 LEVELS BELOW YOU? I fail to see the 'truce' or peace, in constantly nailing level 16-35~s at level 50... there's no chance at all for them to live even running. Yea I play on vector and get ticked off being ganked by 4 level 50s, minding my own business. 'boohoo thats part of pvp noob' blah blah etc. I doubt if some one was just buying groceries (fake food) in the matrix you'd go up to them and shoot them in the head because you want one meaningless number....

it's a part of Vector life, best thing to do is do missions and if you see a 50 then don't stop running till you can't see him

As said it is part of hostile life..... the players in question will kill you because they can, and it nothing related to cq's so changes there won't alter that situation.

Agreed its not really about CQs, its just about killing. The only time I get caught by a 50 is when I'm not paying attention... or they have no life so they chase me throughout a building I can't get out of. Just be aware of everyone in your area, /who is your friend so use it every so often.

I can't count the number of times my normal character on Vector has been ganked by a level 50 that just passed by or I didnt' see coming. Getting ganked doesn't bother me.
Though I find the witty comments afterwards somewhat odd like "Welcome to Vector n00b!" which is my personal favorite since the person saying it has no idea who I am.

erm... theres only a few people who say that, if I ever gank you, you'll know because I'll use my analyzing your condition macro which will result in me stating the blatently obvious.

I've had the good luck on Vector to fall in with a Faction who spends a lot of time looking after it's weaker members. It's good to know that if you need them, there can be a couple of 50's ready to back you up wherever you go. I don't mean to say 'Go find a babysitter', but if you spend some time making friends and allies, you'll be a lot better off. Hail!

Very true. It's not really a 24/7 thing. Its more like, I really need to get to this area, and this 50 is sweating me. Really appreciate my faction mates and friends for helpin me in those situations.

Here are solutions:
Report the ganker to your faction's 50s and put them on the task of rooting the ganker out.
Make the ganker down for destruction and level as fast as you can.
Travel by air when missioning. 50s cant touch you if you are travelling thru the air and by rooftop.
If a 50 camps your building, call the nearest friendly level 50 and friends. They tend to salivate when they know a Red is camping.
Use the C button to scan for enemies.... And make sure if a Red is camping your building leave by rooftop. Hit the door and hyperjump.
Vector is the only server that truly reflects the violent nature of the Matrix.

Mate, u wanna go a non-hostile server if u cant hack it. My main (TheHidden01) is on recursion, and I made an alt on vector (Nartation). Tbh, I'm loving this server, great faction (Dark evolution), great people (no talking junk), and pure hell.
