The xp with no info = trees not levelled. Plus - it ain't like I'm gonna get attacked.
For one hour I stood there, with two concurrent 5 second abilities attracting attention. No agent attack.
Seriously - this is one of many bits of content that is simply irrelevant. Make the agents attack. 5 mins is too long in an untagged area - especially when using abilities that attract attention. Otherwise, I and many others simply won't bother.
My entire system chat was full of those threats. Ridiculous. I know the chances go down as you level - but I don't think they should ever be this low.
it's my belief that the agents should spawn immediately and follow you, after you reach maybe 2 minutes in they should become hostile, also the level of the agents should increase with the area, so sobra should have lower level agents than Historic.
When they first opened International and Downtown to us in beta, the agents were RUTHLESS. There were many times when we'd grab the subway that an Agent would be waiting on us. We'd be dead before the green code faded.
I think that level should not dictate the speed in which an Agent appears. At level 255, we are ants to them even at 50. I love they are more aggressive in chasing you, but I wish they weren't so hard to spawn.

Stricter Agents FTW!
one thing I wished about the agents was that they'd have the ability level of about level 30, Morpheus and Trinity could hold out against them for a decent amount of time and it's always something I thought was a little wrong about agents, especially when you fought against the machines and you had to kill agents.
you shouldn't be able to kill them but running away from them should be very very difficult. they should be very defensive but not be able to hit as hard.
Maybe the agents are too lazy to attack or they know that you are trying to attract them so they stay in their rooms sipping their coffee. But agents are very responsive in the other areas. Maybe we should have stricter agents.
Even though we have a truce, I feel Agents really are lacking any sort of fear and swagger like they did in the movies, which made them very appealing and deadly before the truce. I thought cinematic 6.3 brought back this appeal to the Agents, I just wish they acted like this more in-game.
Do agents spawn whilst you are on a mission for the machines in an area that you haven't made safe? Seems silly that they should hunt you down if you're working for them. Mind you I know that'd give all machinists out there a bit of an advantage and would probably unbalance the game! While I agree that Agents need more of a role, I don't think the area they spawn in should dictate their level, it should be the level of the person they are chasing that should dictate their level. A higher level certainly but not one that can kill you instantly, so you can put up a small fight, but you should be able to run from them, but not escape, easily. They should chase you down indefinitely, well until you reach a safe area. So when you upgrade, they upgrade. Perhaps, as well as guarding restricted areas they should turn up if someone demonstrates any matrix powers in front of bluepills walking the streets....
Some of what I'm posting (all of it?) has been said before, but deserves reiterating.
1) A level 50 ought to be able to hold off an agent for about ten seconds without taking much damage before the agent overcomes his defense and starts beating the crap out of him. Currently, one shot from an agent does over a thousand damage, and the agents don't interlock before they kill you. Make the agents break your shield in one hit, then interlock you and use some serious kung fu, with abilities and all. Especially machine gun fist.
2) A level 50 ought to be afraid to go downtown even if he's got all the nodes tagged. Somewhat. I've always felt that having a node tagged was too much of a bonus - if you're out fighting in the streets, using abilities that will clearly be waking up whatever bluepills see you, the agents should come anyway. Reducing the effectiveness of access nodes by a little bit is probably a good thing here.
3) I agree, level should not matter to the agent meter. We are restricted from all areas except Richland - make it feel that way. The agent-meter shouldn't have to be scaled to level anyway, since the gangs in the districts already ARE - so you won't ned to use agent-attracting abilities to defeat them.
I think more critical missions should have hostile npcs that spawn on the way to certain areas, i think it would be a bit more INTERESTING if a 255 just spawned on you because of the mission you were doing.
Yea I know I'm just saying it would be more realistic if it was that case rather than being able to hide from level 255 agents by putting a disguise on.
Yea but surely an Agent would be able to tell the different between the levels of a bluepill and a redpill and obviously Exiles, agents ect. because otherwise they wouldn't even notice you in a hostile area. Wearing an Agent disguise doesn't mean you can hit for 1000 damage on free fire, nor does wearing a waiter disguise make you have 100 health, why should wearing a disguise change how much of a disturbance you make so that Agents can't pick you out.
I think it is just the games AI, a disguise puts you in 'Sneak' allowing you to freely run like all other normal NPCs.
Yeah, I don't think this is something that can be changed just for Agents.
Although NPCs will still sometimes shoot at you with a disguise on.

I think that is when the disguise timer completes just as they spot you, so they shoot at you but your still in sneak.
i dunno what you all are talking about. at level 50 i've had agents spawn on me in areas with tagged nodes, after i just got off the subway, or through a hardline. and not only that, they would follow until i was dead; even if i ran into another district.
