Oooh, Looks like they're dressed for a funeral.
I hope it's one of their own org members
It's looked like everyone is dressed for a funeral so far...
My guess - there is a funeral. A big one. For someone everyone cares about.
The Oracle.

Hm, yes.
Hopefully us players get to see those shades...they look like sectors but with reflection.

Commandos wear'em, y'know. And EPN NPCs wear them all the time, but darker versions.

Yea, I doubt those shades are one of the items not rendering reflection because they do it on NPC's anyway. I've always wanted those for players though. =[
Shimada: About *CENSORED* time. That purple shirt never worked... it was practically blue! Blue! EPN hates blue!
Kid: Cool, but he wore void shades in cinematic 3.2
Glasses: Belive it or not, the shiny versions of the sector sunglasses once actually existed ingame - but *only* the shiny versions. First, they were as they are now - dark. Then one day, they magically became shiny. They reverted to the non-shiny state when CR2.0 went live, curiously enough. Hopefully, they'll manage to have both versions available. I for one vastly prefer the shiny versions, but "the problem is choice".
Hey, cool..
I remeber suggesting they use those a while back after I saw them in the cinematic with Cryptos and the Kid.
Edit: I just watched it again after Kou-urake's comment and I thought they looked more like a mix between Voids and Sectors...
Either that or they just look weird on his face. >_>

They are. Once upon a time, that was the model for the black sectors. One of the patches replaced that model with the one we currently have. I've missed them since they took them away.
EDIT: Proof.

Those ones have more of pink/purple shine, while the one The Kid/EPN/Commandos wear have a similar shine to the female noob ones..

I loved Shimada's blue shirt!!!!!! At least she has the jacket.. I hope she still wears the blue sometimes!
And she has those Emerena glasses on.. for females!! They are male only glasses for us players
All females have are the awakened ones
But I think the EPN crusader girls wear those glasses Shimada has on sometimes
They all look ready for combat, well, except for Merv and Pers, they look ready for brunch
I wonder what Ghost, Niobe, Veil and Cryptos will look like
Veil all in black, that will be something to see
and she will probably have Cryptos connected to a dog leash
Great! Shimada will at least have the dignity of dying in a cool outfit!
In any case, everyone is starting to look more 'Matrix-like'. It's pretty cool, just like my RSI.
Nice job on all fronts, especially Shimada's
.If the Merovingian killed her , why he is dressed for her funeral? It doesn't make sence. It's looked like everyone is dressed for a funeral so far...

The Oracle.
Shimada and Kid look great, a bit more combat ready and serious.
Then again Rare's said these are all alternatives, not perma changes, so as long as they're used for appropriate situations i spose it's ok...
I think it was the idea that she look more hardcore. Something tells me she's going to be, along with everyone else when Chapter 8 kicks in.
Personally I like the changes, especially Shimada's. Looks hawt.
MxO just got the matrix cool back. All these new models look teh obsolute s3)(. We can only hope the storyline is as cool.
PS. Rare email me his glases

Hmmm... either its a funeral for someone important or people are gearing up for serious business...Arguing on the internets?
Tis' a dark time in EPN...or is it?
Indeed it looks that way...
I quite like Shimada's new outfit but for some reason her head looks really weird in this shot.I thought the same...I think it's just from seeing it from underneath that makes it sort of odd.

War? The war's been over for over two years now. If you're refering to the Machine's conflict with EPN, not much. They're chasing ghosts, and we're turning them into them

(( Way back when we used to be able to wear those shades all the time. Then certain players made an effort to convince Rarebit to change them from mirrored to solid color because they said it was that way in beta. If you remember, when you equipped the construct books you were able to change the look of whatever shades you had equipped to the mirrored shades. Those were my default glasses. I was more than a little pissed off when those certain players got their wish and those of us who loved them can no longer wear them ))

Actually, the way it was first was that the Sectors would look shiny pink-and-blue when worn on the large male RSI bodies. Then they made it so all the sectors were shiny pink-and-blue, which looked kinda dumb on greenish-gray rainy days instead of the occasional Sati sunrise. Then enough people complained that they reverted them all back to solid black.
It was especially lame because all the different "colors" of sector shades didn't have much of an effect--they were all pink and blue.
Still, though, I hope they do release a wearable set of shiny shades like the ones Kid has, maybe as an EPN-only event reward item

Neo's body is found and he is, in fact, dead? This would be great. Closure means that The Kid can finally S.T.F.U. just like Morpheus not being real, alive, or really alive can keep the disbelievers at bay for now...
On that note, it's about time someone killed the Merovingian. We've almost completely removed every original character from the first movie, so we need to start on the sequels. Despite this, I think Veil is perhaps one of the most interesting "new" characters.

Eh? When did that happen?
