I've already stated in another thread its a "recovery.zcf" file it looks for on a http site, which returns a 404. Its just annoying, nothing really harmful.

I believe with Vista you got to "Run as Administrator". You can modify your shortcuts to do this automatically. As for patching, there have been alot of changes that the D2D don't have, so it will take a while. However, if you run it again...
The file that is missing has nothing to do with it. It deals with file recovery. The launcher tries to communicate with the web/patch servers but it can't find "recoverycf.zcf" (The joys of log files ^^)
