Fastest time to 50

I have heard someone do it in 9 days, not /play days, real life days, and they had a job and slept ^^

Just have to really want it and have no distractions, so it may be a good idea to only try beat 9 days when your not in a faction and you hava either bought or made all the abils you need to stop more distractions.

Its been a year for me and im at 45, but I kinda got bored of missions at level 40.

About 10-12 days for my third 50, which was from 17-50 when I started seriously leveling it.

A team farming parts, with one 50 missioning you = quick leveling. 340 or so parts = a level, with four people farming parts that makes things quicker and having a 50 run missions means you should be pulling in near max xp each mission for your level.

Put on some music, press N, select a mission and start running.

I'd find that pretty impressive if I would believe it. But if you got a job and you sleep you'll lose about 16 hours a day that you're not able to play, leaving you with 8 hours to grind if you don't eat. That would mean the player grinded to 50 in 3 days of /play time. That was only possible in the beginning of MXO, where you would get max XP regardless how long it took you to finish it. With CR2, this isn't possible anymore.
You have to stay in each area for 2 minutes and it takes about 750 missions with max XP to hit 50. Each mission has 3 phases, so thats 6 x 750 / 24 = 75 hours of non stop grinding = 3 hours more than 2 days IF you can complete every mission in 6 minutes, but the tutorial ones can take a bit longer at the lower levels. You have to code abilities, farm frags to code them because you can't stay a soldier for 50 levels.

My fastest was from 20 to 50 in 2 weeks.
How to do it?

He may of been on a holiday, I am not too sure.

Personally, i started March 25th and got to 50 late June I think, mabey early July.  With my second character I started her about June 06 and here we are August nearly September 07 and she is 37 ^^  Just taking my time this time.

If you run your missions on Hard, you get more XP that way, which makes things go quicker. Also, running the Archived Missions and the Neighborhood Mission Contacts breaks up the monotony of standard missions. Only catch is, it can cut into your organization rep.

I'm determined to get max rep this time around.  I'm at 115 at lvl 24 so I look to be on a winner here

Wow, good work! I know my rep climbed pretty fast in the beginning when I was running standards and -- eventually -- crits on Easy, then it slowed down once I started running them on Hard, to get more XP.

Yeah, I know of a few people that exploited the mission system. They got the 3 phases in the same building, mission after mission. Get 3 people on a team, one hacker, one with lockpicks. Because there was no timer you could hit 50 in no time.
I think that was the first major bug fix of MXO.

I don't understand why people feel it has to be a race to see who's first to reach the level cap. They must have never taken time to explore the megacity or see the constructs and therefore miss out on content.

I saw someone do it in 15 minutes once, but I don't think we're talking about that method...

First one took about 10 months, second about 8-1/2 months.    The first was a bit harder since it was on Vector in the early days when there were much more people around to gank you from levels 16-50.  But it made you more aware of your surroundings.  Second was easier on Recursion, but I took my time and did all the neighborhod mishes, archives, PB's, criticals and constructs.  Didn't do practically any standard missions.  I'm debating whether or not to go for the trifecta on Syntax    If not, I'm happy to get 3 more alts to 22 when you start getting specials and your life becomes easier (currently they are 18, 20, and 20).

Either way, a race to 50 is silly, you miss out on a lot.

I think it took me a year to get to level 50 and i hit it right before CR.2.0 lol. The 2 min. limit timer is not for real still is it?

Yep you gotta hit 2 mins a stage to get max xp.

Ive seen no real difference in the xp, for doing that. Though I know 9mmfu said once its how it works.

I think it was Moonlite.

One of the CSRs just upped their character's level on the spot.

For my third 50 I hit in about 12-13 days, thats 12 hour constant grinding, from log to log off lmao. Wouldn't do it again though

Where is this device?

I whizz-banged my way to 50 with my first character, at the expense of pretty much everything.  I didn't know the importance of VD and DR, didn't know what anyone was talking about when they mentioned the wonderful land of 'Sakura', and more pertinently I was a doormat in PvP. 

It's well worth taking the time to learn your chosen build, and integrate yourself with the environment (the constructs, specifically - Sakura has never been so fruitful) before reaching the zenith.

my 1st 50 was back during beta testing I did it in 2 weeks  no sploiting whatso ever... I did 5hrs during the day and 3hrs at night everyday for 2 weeks..  this was my schedule  lol  went to work at 7am until 10am then went home jacked in at 10:30am played until 3pm went back to work until 5pm went home and jacked in at 5:30pm played until 10pm or some times til midnight..

My second lvl 50 took me 2mnths, my responsibilities at work changed drastically and so did my game play lol
