It was 4-5 days and took about 5-6 different 50's. Then go around and get banned again and expect everyone to do it again and when they don't want to leave game!!

1st 50 was on enumerator...you know how that all went back in the day.....did it with my faction and a bit of solo missions in like 2 months
2nd 50 on recursion...about 3-4 months..mostly solo and still doing missions.
3rd (in progress..lvl 40 atm) on syntax....taking my sweet time...Only SIM trees, barely any regular missions (just crits and a few archives), mostly just mobs, constructs and hideouts for xp ..oh and Dmining of course..this will be my last grind so..just enjoying it and doing something different....cause missions....well..they make me have seizures and /vomit.

Last 50 I deleted had a play time of about 6 days or so.

And screw missions. Especially regular ones.

It was a purely farming RSI it turned out. "Buckets" of construct items, hideout items, etc. I wasn't really trying to go super fast, but when I was on him.. I was doing nothing but killing things. Exp added up fast.

Now I'm doing it again. I need a life.

I levelled myself in about 4 months, that was with taking time in the constructs to get the items that I wanted (I didn't stay around to get buckets of items in them that some people do though, which is a mild regret because I didn't think about that during the time.

I don't think I'd do anything overly different though if I did it all again...

Oh and I'll edit this when I check my /play time later.

nubious is right.... it was really really quick after launch. Hyperspeed was different back then and there were some bugs people took advantage of to basically to never leave a building or really small area.

My 1st 50 on Syntax took me about 5 weeks to do, my Recursion 50 a little longer but i soloed most of my Recursion missions.

My first took 6months with a 24 days playtime

2nd took 2 weeks with a 7 day play time

3rd took 3 weeks with 9 days (took me a while to get in the grinding mood, but i got a lot of help too)

working on 4th currently 41 with like a 7 day play time in 4 weeks, (did the whole afk farmin thing SMILEY " width="15" height="15" />)

The first to ever hit level 50 on all servers after the server went live was NanoHaxial. He did it in 4 days, or 3 and a half, I do not remember.

It took me 4 months to hit 50 and I only have one 50. My next highest is a 45.

Having started in June 2005, Anuk hit 50 roughly after 1 year an 70 days of /play time. It was really worth it, exploring everything, RPing etc.

DirkDiggler69 needed only 22 days of /play time. Third RSI is on 22 now SMILEY

Although I started Lhurgoyf (Vector) and 38317 (Syntax) only days after Anuk, they are still Lv34 / Lv14 lol.

Recursion

(First) Started before my main, March '06 and still only level 15 SMILEY " width="15" height="15" />

(Secondary) 3 But I will start on this one after I hit 50 on Vector, just wanted to claim the name. Started in August

Vector

(First) 21 and will shoot up after I get my second 50 on Syntax. Started same time as second Rec character.

I got my first 50 in about 2 months. That was because I was leader of a Faction at the time, and wanted to be max level to help in events. Because at the time on Method Collective had an obscene amount of 50s.

I forget how long it took me, but it took me from level 40 to level 50, 2 maybe 3 days tops, and i mean no sleep, no conversations, no team, in bam wham out and next mission, it took me quite a while, but getting to level50 was very expensive, only had enough to level up each time, rather frustrating.

I got ETF to 50 in 13 days. Real days, not play time. I slep and went to school too. Here is how:

1) Get to lvl 5 by killing Uriah npc's
2) Mission quickly to lvl 10 (Should not take long)
3) Tag all hard lines
4) Tag all nodes
5) Mission for a little bit
6) You should easily be lvl 22-25

And that's only one Day 1

For the rest 12 days, when you long on don't pvp, don't talk to people, don't do anything but mission.
Missioning with 2-3 50's can be very effective.

Honestly I think i finished so fast without playing much because of the Pandora Box Mission.
I went from 45-50 in one day. That is very, very tough usually.
Hacker back then had ownage area distance and damage.

Without the help of others (For nodes and stuff)
I got my char FireFenix from 1-43 in 18 days.

Right now I came back, (after being afk for a year) and my char is 22 and its been a week.

I am leveling slower now since i have a lot of friends to talk to that i made from ETF
I hate missioning now though

I just looked at my /play time for Majinn when I hit 50 and it was at 9 days and about 3 hrs...in that time I crafted pretty much all my own abs, levelled in 2 different archive constructs, farmed all the collectors items I'd need and everything. As of now that I've hit 50 the only things I have left to farm are an Area K, Seraphims, couple Elite Commando items and a Patcher's Headgear.

i no longer see the point of this topic, it seems like just a challenge, but having 1 or more helpers is good as long as you find yourself slow doing missions or it can be a drag lol

Save them till as late as possible though, HLs give a percentage of xp and make a bigger impact on the later levels and they both dont give any info so you could be strapped for leveling info at a bad time SMILEY

Been grinding the archive missions, and some of them really pay out some serious XP, I went from level 33.1 on Saturday morning to 35.1 just a few minutes ago!

Access node xp cap is 27,500 per level. That means level 36 min to get the max xp from the highest nodes in Downtown (990k xp).

But you can tap all nodes in Westview and International for full XP once yur level 12 or higher.

Before we had the archives I did every single Neighborhood Contact mission around those level. Not the best XP but it's a great way to mix things up a little.

my recursion /play time was about 12 days although i had the charchter since the game launched i didnt start really mission it till the beging of this year and with that time i calcultaed would be around that time period
