1. Is there any way to tell the gender of an item on the craftable items list, when it has green background? (why is it green anyway?)
I'm not 100% sure on this, bu I think if you hover the pointer over the item, the description should pop up and the item will have the gender-associated color background.

2. Is there any benefit for higher coder abilities if I improved encryption or other useless lower ability from the same tree?
(or I ask the above question generally about any ability trees)
Do not level useless abilities (Encryption) beyond the maximum needed to acquire the next ab in the tree.

3. is there any actual/practical need for keeping a shielded item set for an MA character, in the case of viral attacing mobs?
Shielded/Armored items tend to have more pts of resistance than their Enhanced counterparts. However, the trade-off is that all Enhanced items have mulitple resistance/bonus Attributes. So this choice is really a matter of personal preference. I think if you were going to tank against two specific classes, you could do so successfully using a combination of all Shielded or all Armored clothing.

4. how do unequipped and LEVELLED abilty codes behave? for example if I receive an ability code levelled to 10/50, from my alt RSI, and I have a character at level 9, then I wont be able to use it? if I have a level 12, then I will be able to use it automatically as an ability levelled to 10? how does the system make preference, if i have the same ability with diferent levelled states, which one will be equipped if all can be use at the character's level, automatically the highest?
Ability Attributes are tied to the level of your character. I don't think you can equip an Ab that is leveled higher than your character's current level. Also, if you do not level the ab to the max for your level, then you only get the benefit for the level that ability is at. You cannot equip (in the Ab tree) the same ability more than once. I think I have had instances where I've had an ability in my inventory that I've coded for a fac mate, and when I equipped that ability, it took the level 1 ab instead of my level 50. But I have never actively tested that.

5. what are the selectable and useable desk phones for, in the offices? (you can use them, but there is no obvious result)
Mission props, like the computers. Sometimes they are used in your mission, sometimes thwy aren't. Other than that, no purpose for them exists that I know of.

6. where is the best to post list of patch ideas, glitches, recommendations for improvements? Is there an updated, comprehensive list of these that are known/posted, but still unfixed/unimplemented?
I recommend a through search on the topic you want to propose. After five years, chances are, someone has already posted that idea or something very close to it. But, if you can't find anything on your idea, by all means post it. The appropriate forum for this is the Development Roundtable. Just be prepared for a slew of naysayers to shoot down your ideas. The most frequent objections are "no Devs/Animators/Investment". And, whatever you do, don't talk about swords, cars, motorcycles, or story-teller tools. All of those have been done to death and will, without a doubt, get you flamed mercilessly.

Additional questions:
7. What are the best Agent looking shoes and trousers? I can put up with the "black plain slacks" as it looks ok ,but its got horrible name, and maybe there is better than that, but the "lucien dress shoes" are not even really black, any help on this one please?
I can't answer this one as well as some of the others. Mathalos had this look down to an artform, as did Sykin and HostileIntentions. But most Machinists could probably tell you.

Debuffs in MXO work like buffs - they appear on your buffer bar, and for all intents and purposes, are buffs, they just buff you in a negative way. [edited at OP's request]
You are correct about the debuffs acting the same way as buffs. [edited at OP's request]

9.Is this true?
If you use the speed tactics when you activate an ability in interlock, and wait for the number to turn red (if you're quick enough you can even wait for the green crosshairs to show up) you can then switch to power tactics and the dmg boost (coming form the power tactic) should be added, once the dmg text shows up in the system window, feel free to switch back to speed tactics and repeat.
This is correct, and has been hotly debated since the implementation of CR2.0 as to whether it's an exploit or not. I'm not sure, but I think 9mmfu (Dev) said on these forums that it was not an exploit, even though it was not officially part of the design.
