Vista Fixes how are they

well im curious to see how good the fix has been for current vista owners i have a copy of vista and im thinkin bout puting it back on but i just wanna know how much of a improvement this is on with vista.

Far from good. As announced, the shadowy faces have not been fixed, as haven't other issues (i.e. the char isn't dispalyed correctly in inventory window, some items do not display at all when hovering the cursor over their icons). The texture bugs have been "resolved" very very slightly - they're more limited, but not gone.

I dont really notice them, the ones I wanted fix was the ability to take a screen shot in game without having a big black box over 3/4 of the picture, and the shadows over the faces to be removed.

Oh well... I'm in the process of nuking my main computer and then I'm gonna put XP on it again.

I do miss my bumpy elite commando gloves tho, now it just looks they're flat out missing a texture =P

My first impression is that it got worse. I cannot wear the stuff anymore which I was wearing until the update. And I still can't wear anything that didn't work before. Even nekkid doesn't work -_-

I would imagine the vista issues require a coding fix, band-aid workarounds just aren't going to cut it. The person to do it would possibly be Dracomet but I think the staff are too worried about delving too deep into the game's code and changing stuff.

Okay, now the update is a fail. :3

the little face shows ok without shadows.

and my port forwarding on the laptop seemed very crisp.

however, my inventory still has items (most items, ok all the clothes items) that I cannot see completely.

So I think they need to fix stuff still.

I'll grab some pics tonite and add them here.

That particular spot in Mara C has always glitched for me.  once you walk 1 meter away, it goes away.  I've yet to figure out why that particular spot is weird.
