From what I read, it's not going to be Faction specific, but Org specific. Each of the three Orgs will get their own rooms.

The free trial is still going on. It was such a success they kept it going.

I don't believe these areas are Crew/Faction specific, rather Organizational specific where your Crew/Faction can hang out. Still tremendously cool though.
