Like the subject says- do agents bleed?

Would the machines write a 'blood' code for agents so that they were more acceptable to the bluepills, or would the fact that noone ever hit an agent until Neo remove the necessity for this?

I ca't remeber any scenes from the movies where they bled, but i haven't watched them in a while.

They do bleed.  Agent Johnson bled in the freeway chase scene.

And Smith bled when Chuck... Neo roundhouse-kicked him in the face in the dilapidated building.

Agents do bleed, but their blood never leaves their rsi. notice, u have never seen an agent's blood fall to the ground or splatter

Well, you're right, we haven't seen agent blood falling on the floor. However, thrice you can guess where it lands after being kicked out of Smith's mouth SMILEY

that comes really close...but dont forget..Smith wasnt an agent at that time. and he had inherited a ton of other abilities from other programs. Smith was corrupt, so that argument wouldnt stand up.

Yeah the Agent Morpheus faught on the lorry bled when Morpheus managed to cut him across the cheek.

I assume thats the one Illyria ment.

Incase I'm missing something, does Johnson's blood on the lorry actually vanish somehow? Or anything point to the blood actually disappearing or unnaturally not leaving his skin? Because in some types of wounds, the blood can also stay at the spot without dripping or pouring down.

Johnson also bleeds when Trinity perforates him with her micro-UZIs as they're plummeting from the rerouting facility window. It's kinda hard to see, but some of her bullets actually hit him and pass through, leaving small clouds of blood in the air.

Remember, it's not the Agent who's bleeding, it's the person they've taken over. So I would imagine the blood does leave the person/Agents RSI.

Plus the bit were Trinity does her ''Dodge this'' bit in the first film if you look close you can see a spray of blood comeing from the flying agent before he turns back in to a blue pill.

Also when Neo pwns the Agents with the Gatling Gun in the first film - not sure if you can make out any blood with all the water, but I seem to remember seeing some

That was probably when Morpheus got shot in the leg.

.... If they bleed they must be human.
#11200004527 06/30/2006 00:58:49 Re: Do Agents bleed?
What? Why?
They're programs. They can just as easily be programmed to be built exactly as a human man - blood, innards, everything. They're just incredibly strong and resilient.
#11200004528 06/30/2006 06:41:40 Re: Do Agents bleed?
If they get hit they will bleed, why? cause they are still built upon a system of rules, and all they have done is projected themselves on a human RSI. However they do have additional capabilites, i.e the power to dodge bullets, if they didnt bleed or were bullet proof, then they wouldnt need to dodge them at all.

Simulation. Bleeding inside the Matrix is only an animation of the matrix. Blue, Red, Agent... none of it is real :robotwink:

I dont think the Agents themselves bleed but rather the RSI that they are inhabiting at the moment is the one thats bleeding. Remember in matrix one when trinity shot the agent point blank on the roof? You see a blood spray and the body flops to the ground is the police officer with a bullet hole in his fore head. My reasoning is based on the fact that whenever an agent takes over a new body they look brand new, everything restored and cleaned but the bluepill they are in are the ones that suffer the beating.
