See? I told you LittleBigPlanet wasn't as original as people were making it out to be.

This was Edge Magazine's 'Internet Game of the Month' in today's issue. I've managed to get to the level with the goal directly below the starting point. Gotta find a way to swing the block over the edge. H'mm...
Then I would say you should see this game in action - there's enough footage around now. But you've already said you like neither EA nor DICE, so... Ah well, all I can say is I reckon you're missing out.
Freelancer117 wrote: To be honest, I'm not really interested in this game at all. Haven't been a fan of DICE since Battlefield 2, patch 1.2. And, I straight up just don't like EA. I've never played a DICE game before, so I'm more than will...
Nice work, man! The timing was very good, especially when Halborn stood there having taken out the Agents.
For those who haven't been following this (why not, blast it?), here's some more footage from the game: http://ve3d.ign.com/videos/play/355...PC/Mirrors-Edge And check out these galleries for some concept art, including charts describing t...

Tchah! If there's a proxy capable of redirecting MxO and Xfire traffic and the like from a college network, I'm going to hurt whoever didn't suggest it to me when I was at university.
Only three games are mentioned, and MxO is one of them.
... God bless the BBC. *Salutes.*
A fresh perspective? Where? I must have missed something.
'Word', as I believe the expression goes. I'm all for giving this odd little bunch a slap.
Regular expressions and Excel yield: Recursion's Top 100 have 785,942 CQ. Syntax's Top 100 have 777,149 CQ. Vector's Top 100 have 948,948 CQ.
*Grins wildly, his increasing insanity apparent in a rapid twitch of his left eyebrow.*

It worked fine for me using Opera earlier today. Just throwing that out there so Opera doesn't get a bad name.
Yeah, painting important objects in primary colours is 'Runner Vision', and can be turned off.
Canbus wrote: I'll be surprised if this game is actually good. Already had some bad experiences with Namco's Breakdown in 2004, and my fear for Mirror's Edge is that the game will be nearly unplayable like Breakdown. The difference with Mi...
I think this sort of hands-free tech could be an improvement (once it's finished), but I'm not a fan of touch technology. As fancy as it is, it won't work with PC gaming as your arms, hands and fingers will obscure the screen half the time...
Actually, I don't think The Database would be a problem this time, as much as I'd love to post Capone's comic. It's open enough that regular SOE systems (account management, chat system, Station Launcher) can access character details. A pe...
Anyone else looking forward to this? It's a first-person game coming out for PC, PS3 & Xbox360 where you race across the rooftops of a futuristic city parkour -style. I think it looks utterly brilliant, and will be a nice change from typic...
Ah. (( I'm not entirely sure the terms 'oligarchs' and 'oligarchy' are being used correctly. Certainly they're not interchangeable. If the intruders' group is called 'the Oligarchs', then that group is the ruling class of the Oligarchy - t...
Eh. Looks a bit weird and too far from the original plot. The winged things must be a reference to 'the flesh of fallen angels' - if they're some sort of supernatural entity in the film I'm going to do something nasty to the people involve...
I always enjoyed the missions where we had to assassinate Caltech.
Anything by Doctor Wallace Breen (played by Robert Culp).

Groovy! Congratulations to you and Mrs Virrago. Dalanie, eh? I've never heard that name before.
Free. Just bear in mind that Valve have something of a zero-tolerance policy to cheating. I don't know if they're very good at detecting cheating, but if they do they'll ban your account and you won't be able to access any of your Steam ga...
If you like team-based FPS action and don't mind a hefty dose of comedy: yes.
Clearly we'll have to take your views more seriously in the future.
Congratulations again, Virrago. We'll see you soon.
More trivia for you. John Patrick Lowrie (Agent Gray, as I've said) voiced the Sniper in TF2... who you can see in the recently released Meet the Sniper video.
Oh, I get it. It's an excuse for Rare to not have to worry about the usual issues of level design and quality control.
I've decided I won't be going. After initially expressing keen interest in going after last year's Fan Faire, my faction have since pretty much bottled it (again), and as nice as it would be to meet other MxO players, the Glitch Society we...
I am forced to wonder why Rarebit has Vinia in his signature.
Heh. I'd rather not, ta. From the looks of things the academic community isn't too fond of that film. Then again, outright refusing to listen to the other side would make me look dogmatic in my own right. Meh, maybe I'll see if I can find...

I don't see dreams being anything more than our minds shifting things about a bit, organising our thoughts from the past few days and putting them in order. Not very efficiently either if we're forced to watch a lot of it. I can trace ever...
I couldn't make it. *Cries.* I didn't realise the 5th was a Thursday. I'm always in the pub on Thursdays.
It's a good album. Not as good as Hold your Colour in my opinion as it doesn't suit my taste as well as their last. Too much like, say, Prodigy and not alternative enough. No Tarantula or Girl in the Fire. Still, good stuff! I might even m...

I'm bound to come across as a stuck-up prig here (more than usual, that is), but if you want advice, don't have an intro page. Honestly. They serve no purpose other than to delay someone's entrance into your site. If someone goes to a site...
By god, this has to happen. As for the e-mail thing, I think it only lets you add one item (two? Do you mean an item plus some money?) because you need to right-click an item in your inventory to add it. In the loading area the e-mail scre...
Uh, the time until this comes out is getting on my nerves. As is the unknown release date of They Hunger: Lost Souls . Give.
Ha-hah, Griffin is class. ' Nicer?! '
I'm in the old fashioned camp too. I'm not religious, so marriage has no such relevance for me, and I don't care about the legal status it gives people - it's all about devotion and commitment and is, at the very least, a meaningful social...
*Laughs.* The dudes sitting behind screens watching events unfold in a couple of cinematics. I can't remember which chapter numbers.
Welcome back.
Groovy! And excellent timing, too. I need to read that log.
Awesome sketch, thanks! You've even made the console look like the ones the Mystery Man/Men used in the cinematics. I hadn't thought of that.
Have we accepted it? Yes. What else can we do? It sucks more than anyone can say. It's a disgrace to the profession of Web development and SOE's Web Presence team are the most incompetent 'professionals' I've ever witnessed (not to mention...
Eh, sorry dude (a term I use gender neutrally, by the way ), I was a little busy. But please, only do this when you have time. I was thinking maybe you could sketch a scene where I'm standing in Stalingrad in the Real (before its destructi...
Not a bad episode, but nothing too noteworthy (well, okay, there was the Oceanic 6 stuff, but I don't really care about them). Just building up to the finale really. In two weeks' time. Good to see Alpert though! Can't wait to see what the...
I'll think of something and have some screenshots for you tonight. Can't right now 'cos I'm at work I'm afraid.
That's not funny, man. It's too late for April Fools.
A free doodle, eh? Can't pass that up! Are you accepting the suggestions/requests here, or should I PM you? I need to think of something first, though...
