Your attempts are laughable at best.  We have spoken, and for now, I won't ruin your little time, because I foresee what is to come from this, and perhaps I should thank you.  For now though, the crow has stopped chasing the butterfly.  You will soon gain the sight I have.  Sadly, it will not be the way you ever hoped to attain such.

Is that a decipherable code at the end of the transfer?
#36300486651 08/08/2008 08:06:04 Re:Subject: Message from Libertas Verus

May I remind you fanatical myopics that there is an entire race who actually *NEED* the Matrix? I am one of them, and while I'm currently too frail to do much to stop your onslaught, I will gladly watch as your inane flailings fail to succeed to achieve your murderous, genocidal goal.

Though I suppose my word means nothing to you, and you view me as little more than a sentient toaster arguing with a cruel child who delights in pounding out its mechanisms with a hammer. You're entitled to your opinion: my opinion of you is that you're little better than a bunch of rabid chimpanzees scrimmaging in a mansion which they couldn't possibly begin to value, except as something to tear apart.

'Word', as I believe the expression goes. I'm all for giving this odd little bunch a slap.

Freedom is won by those with the courage and conviction to negotiate and keep on negotiating through. Any attempts to destroy the Machines or the Simulation or forcebly awakening those who are dependant on the simulation will almost certainly cause pain and suffering and death to innocents. If you attempt anything like that the innocent blood of intelligent minds will be on your hands and if you are willing to put innocent Human lives and Programs at risk then you will have lost any claims to rights you have.

You are not true freedom, from what I've heard and seen you are merely fanatics bent on getting what you think is right with little regard for what the stakes are.

Only a fool talks when he, or she, should be listening.

What is the harm in hearing a fresh perspective? After all, words are the only real weapons we have available; nothing in the Matrix has teeth anymore.

A fresh perspective? Where? I must have missed something.

A "fresh perspective"? This "fresh perspective" will, for me and hundreds others like me, equate to:

1.) Certain death from loss of habitat, viz. the Matrix, or

2.) Confinement in a construct of limited size in a mainframe. I'm not looking forward to what amounts to living in a *box*, once you've torn down my place of residence. How would you feel if some fanatics tore down your home and forced you to relocate to cramped conditions in an environment with limited resources. I have been studying you humans' history, and I found an incident that is worthy of recalling: The Trail of Tears, in which thousands of members of the Cherokee and the Choctaw tribes of Native Americans were forced, by the U.S. Army, to relocate from their native lands to crowded reservations in what would eventually become the state of Oklahoma. As your George Santayana put it: "Those who refuse to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it."

The Provisioner speaks truth...

There are those anmong you who will die if what you seek comes to pass. Genocide is genocide wether you speak of humans or coded souls. There is no mssiah who will save you, unless it is you saving yourselves. Sentient life takes more than humanity's hand to exist...

Know the code, be the code, live the dream...
Always the predator, never they prey....

#36300491991 08/26/2008 08:28 Re:Subject: Message from Libertas Verus
Sentient life takes many forms, and to think that only humans are worthy of being saved is utter arrogance of the worst sort... Woulds the lives of exiles mean more to anyone if we bled as humans do, or lived and died as humans do. You're missing the point of the threat that Libertas Verus poses to ALL sentient beings that take refuge within the system of the Matrix. Even if humans were to completely withdraw from the system as it stands now, and find 'peace' with the machines it would be a short life doomed to failure.. There is nothing on the surface that has the potential of being able to keep vast numbers of humans alive, let alone support the vast amounts of resources to keep them alive. Even at a more basic level, I can start to see the points that some Cypherites have been making about the potential hazards of forcing an awakening onto an unwilling mind.

MURDER IS MURDER WETHER IT'S OF FLESH AND BLOOD OR OF SENTIENT AND SELF-AWARE PROGRAMS... I WILL NOT STAND AND LET INNOCENT LIVES BE LOST, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ORIGIN.

Mindsweep,

All I can say is this... I do not follow blindly, nor do I agree that humanity's salvation lies in the real, but even more disgusting in the whole scheme of what LV's plans entail, no one has given thought to what will happen to exiles who by their very existience will be doomed to extinction. As for my affiliation with the Merovingian, I merely find it a safer place to express my views without being seen as a traitor to humanity. In humanity's rush for freedom from machines and the confines of Matrix as we know it, there are many who have forgotten that not all life within it consists of flesh and blood. I  speak for those who most would rather ignore and see trampled underfoot and forgotten.

The Pax Arbitratus Amor has stayed out for as long as it can, but now Liberas Veras is mingling within it's affairs.  The crow is chasing the butterfly once again.
#36300495852 09/07/2008 00:28 Re:Subject: Message from Libertas Verus
Once more the idiocy and arrogance of humans is made apparent and in so many ways it makes me laugh. What LV plans to do not only threatens the stability of the Matrix itself, but even worse in the eyes of some, threatens the continued existienc of humanity itsellf. If all minds were meant to be awakened, wouldn't it stand to reason that one by one each mid within the system would have begun to realise the truth of what thi place is. To force your ideas of reality on an unwilling mind is as near to committing murder as you can get with out laying a hand on them. Let's assume for a moment that every human confined within the matrix were set free. Where would they live, how would they be clothed, and most importantly, how would they be fed? In the mad rush that LV proposes in terms of saving humanity, thy're failing to see things out to a logical conclusion. A cage is a cage no matter how it looks, adn to throw innocent and  helpless people into the cage that the real has become ismass murder of the worst sort. Your outposts and colonies are not yet strong enough to handle a mass exodus of poeple let aloon the few that are living there now, so think twice before allowing terrorists to condemn the innocents to an early and painful death.

Agreed

While you all sit around resting on your laurels, I'll be out keeping an eye on things... It's not as easy as it looks to get rid of terrorists such as the LV fleet, and I'm sure as we speak there are others falling in line waiting to take their place. Oh, sure... Go ahead and let complacency bite y'all in the backside again... Just don't be so sure it will end as nicely or as easily as things did this time.

So, it's over? Right. Enjoy your status as biggest joke on the Matrix political playing field, guys.

And they had their arses handed to them by the second biggest joke, no less! That's... that's just too precious.
I feel so honored you rank us so highly, Procurator. Trying to hide behind EPN insults; you sly dog.

As for Libertas Verus... Well, for a moment back there, I thought you might have been something I had to take seriously. But then you get schooled by EPN of all people?

You've let me down, you've let EPN down... But most of all, you've let yourselves down.

Hah.

Hah. Believe it or not, Cypherites weren't even considering crossing my mind when I posted that. Anyway, you're not a joke, I'll give you that much. Like Wright, you're evil.

That word is so clichéd, I know, but I can't think of a better description. *Shrugs.*
You need to stop sweet talking me before I start sending you flowers.

Oh! I see what you did there. You've assimilated Haigen's personality traits in her absence.

Tell me, how is dear... old... Haigen these days?
Doing much better than your masters. Or rather, colleagues, I should say.

Unfortunately, I also find myself agreeing with dear Bloodlust. You can hand them over to us or them any day of the week. We have no qualm with delivering swift justice.
#36300501854 09/22/2008 16:04 Re:Subject: Message from Libertas Verus
EPN should be furious. They broke out of your custody and have been betraying you from the start. Redemption? If you broke away from Zion, and they broke away from you, there can be no redemption; the extremist extremists will kill or be killed.

This is just further proof that we should be killed them sooner, and for that we failed.
