Hello.

This maybe a bit of a long shot but I ahve noticed that some of the fcations websites either have a java/animated intro page to their site

I was wondering how you go about doing this?

Any help/Advice is appreciated.

I'm bound to come across as a stuck-up prig here (more than usual, that is), but if you want advice, don't have an intro page. SMILEY

Honestly. They serve no purpose other than to delay someone's entrance into your site. If someone goes to a site, it'll be to use its features - they don't want to watch an animation that does little more than provide the name and theme of the site, something the visitor will already know. An intro page will either force them to wait, or make them hunt for a link to skip it.

Or maybe it's just me. SMILEY

Flash is best for intros i find SMILEY

You can pretty much do anything with it ^_^

As fro Proc's comment, I agree in a way, But there are times when i will sit and watch it. i guess it depends on the quality of it.
