Perhaps the very reason novelizations have not been created is because all of that story information is to be gradually told in MXO. Maybe they plan to reveal much of what we yearn to know over the course of the game.

The gang in Pillsen also wears a variation of that shirt but the dots are grey and the shirt is charcoal.
