Just an average female neonite (normal npc, trust me) with Neo's partial reconstructed RSI, nothing to get worked up about... though, why it isn't locked up somewhere safe is beyond me. Then again, Zion trusted that thing with Morpheus, right?

My oppinion is that the EPN stoled the Neo's RSI to Zion. That should be great :p

Anything's possible, however unlikely. Remember, when the Assassin was exiled, it was from fear of obsoletion after seeing a special operation in which the machines were doing something strange to Trinity's cranial jack.
Plus, remember the bio of Trinity that was on certain sites when the game was near release. I can't remember the exact words, but something about before dying, the critters scuttling about with their jack in plugs with the doodahs and the whatnots.
Paraphrasing, but it was to the point of:
"Remember, the human brain can for several minutes after the body has ceased to function."
Now that I've regained composure, I'd like to say that Rarebit is a *CENSORED* for being such a tease and this BETTER be relevant to the next chapter after we get rid of the chubby nerd who has maternal issues.

Don't kid yourself about Trinity - she ain't coming back. There would be no reason the Machines would want her to be returned to Zion, dead OR alive.
Regarding the Assassin's information, my theory has always been the Machines simply wanted to find out what made Neo choose her over the rest of civilisation - they decided to do a bit of research on love. Whether that involved unknown constructs that she could survive in - who's to say?

Trinity and Neo grew throughout the series. Whose to say that she'd remain with Zion? She'll follow Neo forever because they are eternally bonded in love.
