I don't think it's a bad idea to have the support forums further up the forum listing, but maybe rather then have just the one in it's own category, maybe other forums like Red Pill Rescue could be moved into it as well. Jeffers
You might have to enter credit card details to validate your address. Best way to check whether it has been activated yet or not is to try and login to the game, that will give you a definitative answer. Jeffers
Go to http://support.station.sony.com/petition and click on the In-Game Support tab. Then fill out a stuck petition and one of the GM's will get you sorted out. Jeffers
This is normally the result of your firewall detecting the launcher has changed since the rule was created and thinking a virus has done something to the file so it blocks internet access. 99% of the time a little pop-up will appear saying...

Think that was one reason. Another reason I suspect that they may not be on the atlas originally was because they covered up the Neighbourhood Names, but that was just my own speculation. Jeffers

Nearly right Phi. The one time server move was offered by Monolith when the game launched in the EU and the servers went from 6 to 9, with Input(hostile) Syntax and Output opening to offer EU players the opportunity to move servers to an E...
Connection seems fine, only thing I notice wrong in the dxdiag info by having a quick scout through it is your graphics driver is a bit out of date, maybe check to see if there's a newer one and try updating it if there is to see if that h...
The other thing to check is to make sure that MxO is running as an administrator account or with an account that has permissions to write to the directory that it is installed in. Most likely this is down to a problem with User Access Cont...
It's probably to do with the way that safari processes the forum code so unlikely anything that you can fix. Never used safari so not 100% sure, but that's definitely my guess. Will see if I can find a way to test it though. Edit: although...
Go into the game directory and look for any files which have the extention .dmp and delete them. Then load the game and you should be away without a crash report. Jeffers
If it was an old Monolith account, go to https://secure.station.sony.com/mxo/details.m and click the Convert My Account Now! banner and enter your login details into it, then you'll be able to pull your characters across to a station accou...
Ok, if you have a copy of launcher.exe (which if you are getting that error message you will have) create a copy and rename it to matrix.exe With this being Windows Vista, I'm just going to mention to make sure that you are using an admini...
Yup, the ingame radio is using Windows Media Player so in theory file types that are supported by Windows Media Player should work without problem. Regarding AIM, that was a feature in the game before SOE took over (since Monolith/WB/AOL a...
Try running a full system check just to make sure all the games files have downloaded correctly. To do this, load the launcher and before pressing Accept to the EULA press the full system check button and then click accept. Once the launch...
Different people will have different depths of knowledge of different games, like with the majority of other things I guess. I've experienced similar things in regard to In-Game support which probably leans towards this as an answer. Maybe...
Ahhh, simplest resolution to the original problem would have been to remove the useropts.cfg file But everything is easy in hindsight. Anyway, post the dxdiag file over multiple pages or upload it and link to it from somewhere. Jeffers

Was there any reason you uninstalled and reinstalled? First thing I would probably suggest is running a full system check just to make sure all the files are present and correct. To do this, load the game and before pressing accept, click...
Sounds like a vista UAC watchamacallit problem. 2 things. 1. Are you running the game as an administrator. If so, somewhere in Windows Vista (haven't used it yet so haven't a clue where) will be the option to allow Launcher.exe and Matrix....
Won't be because it is installed on two computers as the client can be installed on as many computers as you want. There are two things I can think of, one is that the account you are using isn't an administrators account, correct me if I'...
Yup, Fatmop probably hit the nail on the head. Are you running Windows XP or Windows Vista? Either way you'll need to make sure that the account you are running it under has administrative priviledges to allow the game to write to the dire...

Oh right. I think thats something to do with Windows drawing the mouse pointer or something like that, never thought of that actually. I just know it works. Jeffers
All the best Walrus. Really sad to see you go and I hope you'll still drop by and see us occasionally (like EVERY DAY OR ELSE!!!!!). And congrats to Raijinn, just remember we like free stuff. :p And all I can say is I'll be sad to see Walr...
You answer your question as to why it won't work in your second sentence. The graphics card doesn't meet the requirements. I think at the time it was something to do with the graphics card not supporting DirectX 9c fully, but I know I had...
Two ways arround this, one easy one hard, both have the same outcome. The hard (and quite fun if not slightly annoying) way: The mouse isn't actually not working, it is working it's just you can't see it. If you keep moving your mouse to t...
Hmmm, are you still experiencing this? Where are you being bounced back to? Out of the game back to the launcher or just back to the loading area? If it's back to the loading area, have you tried a different hardline? Jeffers

I'm not sure what else to suggest, it's stumping me completely. Had another dive through the Dell website for your computer and notice there's an updated driver for your sound card on it, but then there's a more upto date version on the cr...
Could be, although it is unlikely. Try downloading from one of the locations I posted in this thread and see if it makes any difference when you install. Jeffers
Ideally we need the dxdiag info and the MSInfo posts. Additionally, could you post you network info as requested in the thread at the top of the forum as well? Also you mention your not behind a router, how about a firewall? Jeffers
If you go into the game directory and look for any files which end with a .dmp extension and delete them, the game should then load up without the Crash Reporter appearing. Jeffers
In-game support is normally available over the weekend, it's normally tech/billing support that is only available mon-fri if I remember rightly. Jeffers
Haha, nicely put. The in-game petition system is available over the weekend as well so that way you can normally get problems sorted out, sometime's can take an hour or so but most of mine have been sorted within 30 mins. Negotiations can...

The best is to use a PC! Anyway, seriously though, performance on most laptops won't be as good as on a PC unless you can afford a good one, but since the last laptop I had I've had endless problems with I might be just slightly biased. :p...
For future reference, if you get this issue again and it doesn't resolve it's self after 10/15 mins go to http://support.station.sony.com/petition and submit a petition by clicking on the In-Game support tab along the top under the Stuck c...
I think this is probably an issue the CSR's can deal with, not the TSR's. Maybe update your petition and ask for it to be escalated to a supervisor see if that gets a quicker response? Jeffers
I'd be tempted to put it down to a problem with RAM, however if you post the rest of your system info as requested in the thread at the top of the forum we can take a better look (at the moment you've only posted a very small part of it)....
