Ok, well, I opened up the launcher, same as always, let the launcher patch, and then clicked on "Restart".
The problem is, now, every time I try to open up the launcher, I keep getting a message that says that I am not connected to the Internet. I'm trying this even as I type, so I know I'm connected.
Anyone have a solution, or better yet, an explanation?
This is normally the result of your firewall detecting the launcher has changed since the rule was created and thinking a virus has done something to the file so it blocks internet access.
99% of the time a little pop-up will appear saying This program has changed, do you want to allow it access to the internet, some however do not. One of the common ones which doesn't seem to pop-up the message instantly for whatever reason is Zonealarm.
So first thing I would check is whether your firewall is now blocking launcher.exe from accessing the internet.
I would also suggest if you are using any firewall or connect through a router that you make sure the following ports are accessible for the game client:
In order for the game servers to communicate with your game client reliably, firewalls and routers may need to be configured to allow traffic on TCP ports 80, 5190, 11000, and 10000. It will also need to allow the program to communicate on UDP ports 10000 and 11000.
