Attacking or healing a hostile player will make you hostile. When you are hostile you can be attacked by anyone that is not the same organization as you. Don't type /pvp because this also activates hostility.

I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you can show Rarebit that you registered, he will send it to the character that you tell him.
