The Matrix and Vista? Or is it my gfx card...

Hi again,

so... been playing for a bit now and I am really starting to get a bit annoyed at all the graphical glitches ingame. I can't remember the last time I hit a mob that didn't have what seemed to be corrupted textures. I got my hands on a lovely new coat, only to find out that when I put it on I couldn't access my inventory as all the icons became blank, and my hair became transparant.... Oh yeah and the shadows on mine and others faces seems, well, wrong, there are times when my face and very often mob's faces are completely blacked out.

Sooo... is this a vista problem (bugger, can't do anything about that) or is it my gfx card - Ati HD3870?

any advice or words of comfort much appreciated

It would be Vista. Your GFX card would work perfectly.

It is the Epic Fail that has been Vista

I can also confirm that the ATI3870 is phantastic... on xp.  Keep bugging tech support though.  Might be good to post your problem in the tech support area too.  They might be able to help if it's something else in your configuration.

You play a female character don't you? I've never had any male items cause the blank icon etc problem.

Even if there is a coat on your screen/in your immediate area that's broken, your icons will go blank.

With my main male character, who is body 1. He has a lot of mess-ups with clothes on Vista, mainly coats.
