Why aren't there any fat people in the matrix?
Redpills, as protagonists in a computer game, are supposed to be young, fit, intelligent people. Not to mention well-shaped RSIs are easier to animate and more likely to be used as avatars.

Well.. I don't know why everyone's so down about it when we were told last year that we'd be getting the same again this year. I for one enjoyed it enough to be looking forward to doing it again :)
That was very interesting. I had fun reading Sharas' dialogue :)

If you check, you'll see it's not a matter of characters going out of range, it's just that the window will close if you move more than a certain amount. If you stand close to someone and view the details you can move until they disappear,...
Thank you XXT.
I'm so glad the Machines have abandoned the war, it makes my job a lot easier.
I'd suggest the Super Tap also have a slightly better than normal chance of tapping successfully.

Err.. I should mention, holding a luggable (or a luggable effect) will flag you for PvP.

It's one thing to see people revealing their true colors and targeting their own Org but I think it's pushing it a bit to see people attack their own Liaisons. That little gripe aside, this is an excellent patch. I can't wait to get home f...
Actually it's quite interesting how many people are 'for' the idea in this thread and how many are 'against' in the other thread.

This guy is talking about levels 12 to 22, way too early for Suplex.
It seems to me that the HyperDeflect change is in the best interest of balance and what people are really worried about is the added vulnerability while they're busy with a target. No one should have an insurmountable defense against every...
Havocide has lost weight?
It sounds like all you need is a bit of a change. Really any other tree should do the trick, just so you don't have to see the same moves another hundred times. I'd suggest Spy as it has a different style of gameplay from MA while still be...
I too feel that deflect/sense - block/dodge method would have been better but overall I have to say this patch is rather incredible. Thanks for all the hard work guys and thanks also for keeping us so well informed.
Is it just me or does Shimada sound like a primary school teacher?
Whoa. Those are going to make Lezel jealous.

Hm.. since it doesn't look like 10xdensity I'm guessing it's 10xyield? Excellent. Edit: Ah yes, the patch notes confirm.

Neoteny is in the right. Where we cannot have peace, we will have destruction.
So.. what's new in Update 2.0?

This is why I brought it up, because this sort of thing hasn't been explained much in official canon sources :)
Happy Birthday... OR ELSE
What do you think of the possibility of Stockholm Syndrome bluepills?
Some good points so far, here's another question: Do you think, given the greater picture, that it is ethical for Machines to enforce a disability on an otherwise healthy human?
Admitting that you lost is part of the game.
In The Animatrix: World Record the main character 'Dan Davis' frees his mind at great cost to his 'shell' body in the Matrix. Rather than being flushed, his connection to the system is reinforced and he presumably continues his life as a (...
Mitrios is american and so can you! (He might not actually be american, I haven't asked.)

You just made 'Under the Bridge' the official Datamine hang-out spot.
Red Alert is the game that got me into RTS of this kind. I can't wait to see 3. (Which reminds me, I'm not sure I got around to clocking the previous ones...)
MS kills your Health Regen already though, it'd be unfair for such a high level ability to kill all regeneration.
Yeah I owe Gerik 10 info, but I don't mind in the least because I'm so keen to see Datamine go live. I remember 9mmfu saying he wasn't so keen on the place and I have the feeling that was because of all the testing he's gonna have to do in...
Well if we're betting we better make it serious... TEN INFOS it's unconnected *sits back looking smug*
What's the bet he shows us something entirely unrelated?
There are still a lot of unanswered questions about how Datamine will work but as Rarebit suggests, it's probably better to wait and see before we start arguing about it.

Classy. How long do you expect the interiors to take? If it's a long time then you'll probably get people complaining about node spawn rates because half of the respawning nodes appear inside buildings and in other hard/impossible to reach...

Another way to get around this sort of problem is to hit /jackout for a moment as this causes the game to double-check your location according to the server.

Wow, nice work. Let me be the first to ask if you take comissions.
Those groups have an interest in ensuring the survival of the System - when I said 'free' I meant free of the System.
Those of us who were on vector at the time spent an hour or so chasing rumors of Morpheus and Seraph all over Westview without any luck. Seeing the event post just makes the mystery that much more dramatic. Those screenshots are amazing.
