Looks good so far. I was kinda hoping there would be more behind it besides digging up the Smith Virus stuff. 12 more shirts is cool though. Please tell me there's more than just this to it? Please?

Intriguing. So the female T-shirts are all going to feature the various terms by which females go by, eh? I can think of a few, but I'd better not say. 
Looking forward to seeing some groovy special effects. They may not have much relation to the story (as no doubt someone will mention in a moment), but they can look good nonetheless. They'll probably transition over to event/chapter rewards too eventually.
(Hint: work on proper org rewards before you do that. :P )

Thats a disappointment. Though now with the new e-mail changes we can store the new shirts a lot more easily.
I guess three more people will have a "perma fire virus" now, which makes the original winning less impotent/valuable.

Excellent, I loved the Smith event last year. I don't care so much that it happened before, it's still fun.

I don't like to keep hard to get stuff in email personally 
Remember when there was that problem and all the emails sent over the last day were lost?
"Note that CS still cannot guarantee items lost in email. We're looking into reworking parts of the mail system so that it would give CS the information they needed in order to be able to do that, but it's a tricky beast, and whether we'll be able to get it to that point is yet to be determined."
But still, I am very excited! And new stuff is always fun!! I just have no idea where I'm going to put it all I may have to risk the mail anyway O_O

The main Smithling did say he would be back 
I sort of like how we are getting this back as it would be a shame for it to be cast into oblivion after it was over, at least more is being add to it than the last Xmas event (Although I liked last Xmas' additions) and Hallowe'en.
I think I'll look forward to this, and collecting all the new stuff ^_^

I missed this last year so... yey! 
Personally I'd rather big events be focused on what's going on in the story rather than anniversary/Halloween/Christmas. I don't know how this Smith business is going to mix with the Intruders, but I hope it somehow makes sense. As I said I don't care for the concept of these events so much, so if the devs want to focus more on improving the game/new content, then I say recycling big events with minor tweaks is a great idea if it gives them more time. Also I wasn't here for last years event, so I'm looking forward to it.

I am a little worried about the shirts, will they all be black with white text shirts? I would really like to see shirts with color... and patterns? And logos.... and stuff. Unless the community can vote for 2 words to add to a shirt
How about some white shirts with black text instead of the same old black shirts?
i want another cypherite based anniversary event, means more blue clothes for everyone
hmm, i dont know in my opinion about this. ill probably just do what I did last year and just get the shirts and be done with it like the winter holiday event...

Smith is nice and all. Please don't give out more perpetual fire. I think this stuff is ok, but it's really not what I want. Another Failed Smith Virus infection is old hat. If he were really coming back it would be a different story. I look at the Anniversary event as the only time of the year where we have a chance to get events remotely similar to the old times. I'd be plenty happy if they just had more of the devs play live characters for the Anniversary. Let 9mmfu go on a real rampage as Halborn tearing up the city, Rare could be playing as Carlyne going all over the city trying to get help and stop Halborn, and finally Walrus could be either The Architect or The Effecuator. My point is that multiple devs playing characters can really bring the story to life as different things can happen all around the city at the same time and have several orgs involved.
I kinda wish they'd put up the concert sites from the First Anniversary just for old time's sake.
Also, I can actually get everything since i have the inventory for it, yay!
Anyway, for the disappointment...I'm happy they don't delay regular updates for these. It's like a bonus update.

I hope we get more consumables besides Smith Rage Pills and Oracle Cookies. I farmed tons of Rage pills & cookies last year hoping they'd appreciate in value but alas maybe not so much...

Hmmm... well, I guess it's what I expected. More T-Shirts is nice I suppose, but I rarely wear the few I have anyway.. hopefully this year's will be a little more varied than black with white text.
Knowing it wasn't likely to be anything completely new, I was at least hoping for the Blue Skies to return, including the movie screens and videos.. (or, if nothing else, at least the orange tinged skies we had last year at this time). Though I guess that stuff is still not completely out of the question seeing as how the Image was just taken in the "dev construct."
The first word that comes to mind is underwhelming.

Well.. I don't know why everyone's so down about it when we were told last year that we'd be getting the same again this year. I for one enjoyed it enough to be looking forward to doing it again :)

I dont see what the problem is, Smith is a part of the Matrix story line and the MxO story line, why not give him one week or so out of the year for him to be in the spot light instead of the shadows? Lets go Smith! I mean, saying "aww smith again???" is like saying "Aww another event with the Intruder!" "Aww another event with Niobe!" "Aww another event with us having to kill stuff?" just be grateful you're getting anything at all :p
Eh, an event is an event - but it's rather dull to have done this twice in a row now. The Sleepwalker event was, by far, my favorite anniversary event.
While Smith is the ideal villain or hero (depending on whether you work with or against him), it's kind of dull to turn around and kill Smithlings again, but then again - perhaps a twist (that I will miss due to work of course), will help things out a bit.

I can only hope that this means Roukan will be able to get a "MAN" shirt; thus clarifying things early for any new players.
