Because merger fanboys/fangirls can't keep their mouths shut or read past topics.

Its a bad idea mainly because it proves to SOE that the game can run with one less server, and there is no guarantee it would go to a Q&A, then funds are probably going to be cut maybe even further as it may sink into vaporware.

Point is, if you want more players on a server, go out and recruit. There are buddy keys out there right now through MxOSpace and Algorithm: Black to get a new player going.  HUNDREDS of buddy keys unclaimed. Or you can get off your butt and go find newbies, get them going and make them feel welcomed, because thats where we loose them, they can't find anyone and/or no one cares about them.  One person was gonna quit because he didn't know anything about the game and couldn't find anyone until I ran into him in Uriah.  He resubscribed at the end of the month.

Fill the servers up so SOE NEEDS to get a new server, not reduce.

Because it's been said before that when new players come to a game to find it has  1-2 servers something is clearly wrong and the game is going downhill, There is no need for a Server Merge anyway as of late i have never seen so many people play the game at once not since cr 1.

I myself have PvP'ed on all 3 Servers and im Sorry to say it Recursion but you would be lambs to the slaughter against Syntax even if u truced with Vector.

Claims that one server is better than another in regards to PvP are pretty silly.

Even if (God Forbid) there was another server merge, it's not like each server would be flagged against the other.  It'd still be just a numbers game.  Which org currently has more numbers.  Welcome to PvP.

     It would be nice though, if they offered character transfers like they did in the last merger for the benefit of people who do not want to level on all three servers.

There's alot less (alot, alot, alot) drama on Syntax than recursion. Although there is a few quarrels and debates going on here and there generally we all get on quite well, and if we don't, we don't make too much of a big deal about it.

All the servers have drama, there is no need for a merge. The grind to 50 is not hard and alot of people have done it on all 3 servers, make an alt.

Anyone has the right to feel confident.  Doesn't change anything I said. 

Syntax can claim they have less drama, that is something that can be proven, and has.. over and over.

Without being able to prove something, making claims is silly. 

That was my point.

What we have in a lot of these posts are home server pride, which is fine.  The server bashing is not.
