Jolly good! Well done, that man! It's good to see the interviews getting more detailed.
Your video card is capable of running MxO at low settings. Like I said I'll chat to you on Xfire
card list updated
post the info requested in the following thread and I'll see what we can do. *** Read before posting ***

Yep... DX buffer copy crash. The textures that aren't in the screenshot but were on screen says that MxO takes its screenshot from the buffer not the screen memory (hence the black screenshots in vista because DX10 changed the enumeration...
That's just a video crash during a buffer copy. Nothing a reboot shouldn't fix and certainly not caused by MxO... it happens occasionally during DirectX games. Had you alt-tabbed recently?
I had a brief chuckle... then I RAGED! Largely because something like that has happened to me more than once. The best one ever was we had a SunOS box that we'd stashed in a janitor's closet that backed onto the server room because of some...
Here is a link to the Vista (and XP at the bottom of the page) codec pack: http://www.free-codecs.com/download...dec_package.htm
As a side note... I had to create this bugger from scratch except for the images. Vista and Google gadgets are similar... But are only cross compatible in very limited ways when it comes to porting JavaScript.
Features: Default timezone for the clock is MCT (PST) - Automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustments to all time zones Clock displays in your choice of Matrix Code or Normal numbers Each instance of the clock can be named and set to a diffe...
2 step fix for this Vista issue: 1. Run MxO fullscreen 2. Turn off Antialiasing
Proof that this hasn't been abandoned... I have the clock working with font substitution and a few other bits of trickery... ignore the other clock below it... that's just for correct time reference Now all it needs is stuff that's mostly...
I seem to recall one of these archive missions where you had to lead an NPC to a phone junction box in one of the residential buildings, and she would keep losing her pathing coming up the stairs. It took about 10 tries to get her to the b...
Nah Flecky... I play full screen most of the time. The raw issue is because MxO combined with the 8800 drivers (and a lot of other drivers) doesn't re-initialize the DirectX draw interface properly. Clicking apply in the GFX options reload...

Well I managed to make it during my lunch break... fun party. i$1 cake behind the bar, lots of reliving old drama memories, and plenty of laughs. A big thanks to Lezel on the RMC:Terminal decks and all the people handing out candy/gum/free...
Definitive answerers for this thread: Like 9mmFu said to move the location of MxO all you need to do is move the directory and re-create the shortcut. Make sure you have admin privileges for the location you moved the folder to and that it...

ZaneZavin wrote: Which mxo wiki? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Matrix_Online
A thought occurred to me earlier when reading through the MxO Wiki (thinking it might need an update). I was reminded of the Event (around the time Seraph went on an override program removal spree) where an agent told a cypherite that ther...

/tiphat Well done Yas.

nanofiggisremo... I wasn't saying turn it off to save power... I was saying to disable the option if it is there... but it isn't so nevermind. Some USB devices aren't fully standards compliant. I know it's Vista but this bit is the same as...
ARGH! During work-hours... I'll try to make it, but probably can't.
The speed pad is USB but does not conform to the standards properly (no real surprise... it IS Belkin) try removing it without selecting "safely remove hardware". It seems the driver tries to stop itself when you remove the hardware, even...
What web browser are you using? If it is MSIE then try Firefox. If it is Firefox try MSIE.
Sennheiser FTW My bud headphones (AU$80) out perform most large over-ear ones in frequency range response. http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsit...?transid=500830 also... they're quite durable and the rubber wire protector prevents the wire...
A good read. Slightly more in-depth and humorous than most. 'Grats Vesuveus!
I commenced work on the google gadget about 20 minutes ago... It shouldn't take too much to port from Vista Sidebar due to the high levels of similarity between the two formats. I'll get a text-only beta version up shortly and then I'll up...
The following review should explain your lack of performance . tl;dr: Sorry to say it but your cards are what we refer to in the IT industry as financial ballast (that is, they're pieces of junk, 3650's would have been better value) You sh...
I'm off to bed but I'll post back in around 11 hours. That mo-bo only supports 8x in quad crossfire mode... maybe you need to change the BIOS setting. Also your RAM is showing 2560MB ... windows is only using 2 and a bit GB... if it were u...
Your download has simply timed out. (a common issue on a large patch, such as when you do a fresh install) If you close the launcher and re-open it, the download will resume from where it left off. Don't delete anything. Post back here if...
Sounds like your firewall. Didi anything change on your system recently? It could have been a windows (or firewall) update or if you have a router maybe someone has been messin' with it.
Well SP3 doesn't cause any problems with MxO that I can find so far. Certainly no slow-down. I'd say install away, and wait for the RMS fix, unless you use a smart-card to log in.
Actually I was looking for info on the .dll files and the subfolders in the MxO folder. One might be missing.
I'll check out google gadgets tonight. The bonus with Vista Gadgets is that you can use various system resources easily... such as timezone and Daylight Savings Time offsets. Widgets require the zones to be hardcoded. I have a large list o...
Hey Fickey... Is it just me or have you lost weight? I guess it's the cycling. Grats.
The on-ship section of the game looks pretty cool.
if you can run the following command in the START > Run box then post the contents of C:\MxOdir.txt ... that will tell me file owners, time of last write and if any are missing ... it should tell me a bit: dir "D:\games\The Matrix Online"...
Sorry folks... Between interviewing for a new job (and a $48k pay rise) and actual work I've not had the time to finish it. It's not so much a conversion as a total re-write due to the difference in the way the Widgets work versus Gadjets....
Welcome back.
So it's just a prop then... no function other than a small value. I've been here since pre-launch and I don't think I've ever gotten one... maybe one once, but I might be imagining it. I probably recycled or sold it because it had no funct...
I'll install tonight and post tomorrow if there's any issues or otherwise.
Just checking that you ran the scan correctly (It's slightly tricky). Running Full System Check Check that the MxO folder is not read only and that your account has full access (not modify) to the folder and it's contents. If you need help...
Sounds like windows firewall is the issue... If you can connect to MxO with it turned off then you need to fix the permitted ports in the firewall... you'd be better off using something like zone alarm though. Up to date port information f...
Huzzah! Also I have rare code frags locations, Access node locations, Mob boss locations, Hardline locations if any resources are lacking.
The 360's HD-DVD is an external option. I believe Microsoft are currently trying to sort out a blu-ray player deal.
Can someone please do some bad fan-art, so I can say something other than "Awesome!" Seriously, really good work peeps!

ANZAC Day - April 25th In gratitude for the many men and women who gave so much (and still do) for our freedom. We are forever in your debt.
So are we talking something like SWG but using stargates instead of ships or hardlines?
Clearly I didn't get one... what is SGW?
