We are creating the ultimate in seamless design and information, and calling it Mobil Avenue. This thread is for updates as BD is coming along development-wise, news from the team, and of course, your suggestions.
Notes (will be updated)
- Team is contemplating doing away with member accounts. Resource had quite a few features that required accounts, like node tracking and portfolios, but BD is trying to avoid as many unnecessary features as possible. We feel that node tracking by itself is not enough of a reason to enable member accounts.
- Please do not suggest updated information, because that's our specialty! We're going to have as accurate information as possible as soon as updates are pushed out. Everything that is in-game now since Resource was under hiatus will be added.
- The Clothing database will be returning! We have archives of the databases! Whoo!
- If we decide to enable member accounts, all old Resource account information will be usable. If you had an account on Resource before the day it died, your account will be available.
- BD will be an independent entity, meaning it will not be connected to a radio station, live events team, etc. This is due to past experience and history, as Procurator pointed out.
- (1/17) UPDATE Community-submitted guides will play a role in the BD Guide section. Resource had a few guides, but lacked the time to create more due to other site features. This time around, we want to push new-user experience as well as walkthroughs for quests, Pandora's Box, Commando Halls, etc. Yes, you heard right--BD will have the Pandora Walkthrough Resource never did (WTH?). We want the best player-written guides on BD. Content will be submitted through email and subject to review, editing including addition, relevance, and need. All player-created guides that make it to the live site will of course be given their due credit.
- (1/31) UPDATE Site name and theme changed to Broadcast Depth!

Please get in your suggestions and we'll see what we can do!

The area covered by a regionserver changes based on how many people are actually in a particular place. If there are lots of people, the area shrinks; if there are hardly any, it expands.

Still, I can see why you changed it.

Yours doesn't.
