Patch Problem

Ok just got a new computer, installed and began patching. It's the same wireless router/card/connection as I had on my old computer and I've never had any problems before.

Normally the patch will go fine till it reaches Rezmap.ltb at which point it hangs for a good 30 minutes not downloading anything. Cross fingers that it moves beyond that point then it manages to get to Xptl.dll This time it just hangs for 3-4 hours and then gives me error code -42 (unexpected download termination)

I've deleted the folders which start with _. connected the computer by ethernet cable directly to the wireless router and did a clean boot attempting to get the program to work. As far as I can see in the patch log the file

Only partially downloads which could be causing the problem

I've done full system scans both before signing in and after and it results in still patch -48 error at Xptl.dll

Your download has simply timed out. (a common issue on a large patch, such as when you do a fresh install)

If you close the launcher and re-open it, the download will resume from where it left off.

Don't delete anything. Post back here if you are still having trouble.

Whenever I put in a new install it runs just fine till it error codes but then it won't restart the download on the next time i bring up the launcher

Problem Solved!

Must have been a problem with how the launcher connects to the patch server. I had no problems updating using the Station Launcher.
