THat's probably the easiest way for you for now... without reconfiguring your pc's to network. windows 95, 98, 2000, XP & vista all talk to each other just fine... you just need to get the network settings right and set the security to mat...

Sorry about the delayed reply. It sounds like something is constantly polling your audio hardware or stalling the drivers. Can you post your full MSINFO (or email it to phi[AT]aliciaandnick.com ) and I'll take a look
This is spectacular news! now I can upgrade from my 7950 GX2 to some quad 9xxx series setup!
Here's hoping all's well but if not can you please post your FULL MSINFO (not DXDIAG) There could be a program running that's causing the problem

Best of luck Virrago ... and hurry back Something copied or overwritten... I'm not sure. Virrago is now able to spawn child processes. ITS THE NEW EVENT! SMITH 2.0
Looks great! You have to admire Rarebit's talent for getting so much use out of the existing models simply with creative skinning.
Try turning off the enhanced audio option in the audio options in-game. Does it sound like the sounds are coming from a tin can, or do they sound a bit squelchy like a corrupted mp3?
Is the problem on every game or just every online game? It wouldn't hurt to upgrade the power supply. And your video card isn't very powerful. You want something like a Radeon HD 3850 or 3870.

How long have you been working for SOE? Do you drink more coffee than me? (8 to 10 cups of grande doppio cafe latte or two spoons of instant per cup... that's 9 to 5... then I go home to my espresso machine) O.O *buzz* Any news from 9mmFu...
I'm seeing a few cases like this and I'm wondering if it is anything to do with your system being 64bit instead of 32bit. MxO is only intended for single CPU 32bit systems. Fortunately it doesn't seem to have too many problems with the mul...
The patcher can drop out frequently on the larger files. close it and re-open it and it will pick up where it left off. nothing to do with Vista
mantra777 wins again!
You and your overly pretty and detailed textures! Masking out detail for the purposes of fan-art... blast you!
Will you stop being so awesome... you're making the rest of us look bad
About time! Also, massive props for all your A:B work!

The "Ad Space for Rent" Signs are overlain surfaces on the billboards, and are built into the world model so something must be drawn there, but a transparent texture rather than "Ad Space for Rent" would be great allowing us to see the ads...
"NotZudrag: Great School or Greatest School." /facepalm So was this guy really in an L.A. simulation? Or was he simply reprogrammed to think he'd been gone for 8 years?
Do you EVER use Dial-UP internet or send faxes from your PC? If the answer is no then you could ditch the modem. Freeing up a PCI slot and possibly giving you the cash and socket to upgrade that network card to 10/100/1000. This is purely...

Yay for teh Lezel! No mention of endless hours of dancing at Mara C though.
Without hacking the client you'd need collaboration from SOE (which would never happen due to their security concerns for the player's personal info held in the database) to make a gadget like that. And you'd need a valid player account to...
You don't meet the minimum required specs to run MxO. Your GFX chipset doesn't even support hardware lighting and transform functions. I don't advise your mate to take up a career in IT. The minimum game specs have risen since the game was...
Can you post your DXDIAG ( instructions ) here... we only need the first 2 posts worth. That will tell us if it's your card or not.
It is a known issue that some combinations of clothes when activated in-game while using Vista will cause your textures to go crazy. The issue only exists on machines running Windows Vista, which MxO does not support... I don't care what t...

A big welcome to our new TSR Ken C. Here's hoping you last longer than the others (a couple of weeks is the best so far before they tend to go silent) Thankyou for playing StarWars Galaxies Everquest The Matrix Online

That lag is caused by texture caching. The first time you go indoors everything slows because your PC is madly swapping out textures to the GFX memory on the card. You can fix that by adjusting the caching distances in your options.cfg fil...
