Eh? It doesn't make a jot of difference. The base is influenced as well. Either the base and the bonus are influenced then added together, or they're added together then influenced. It doesn't matter. (x + y) * z = x*z + y*z
(( Right, I shall now try to reconstruct my post. Bah, the effort... And Mods: If you find something bad about our posts, censor the problem , not the whole post ! Jurymen can keep his head level when moderating, why can't you? Moderate wi...
I don't think this is Chadders' fault. He only does the storyboards, not the animation. And the scaling isn't a problem apart from when he's next to the Agents: the Intruder is big .
I reckon it's just 'cos Rarebit hasn't mailed the reward yet. He doesn't do it right after the event. It's perfectly possible that the liaison hadn't heard anything official at all, and just thought: 'He hasn't got his sword, eh? He must n...

(( What's going on here? I could have sworn there was a post by xenin at the top of this page, followed by responses from at least me then Vinia. Where have they gone? ))
Ah, now, let's not get our names confused. I say we keep 'Mystery Man' reserved for the guy sitting in front of a screen watching Stalingrad and Neo's meeting. The guy in today's cinematic should be called 'Intruder' or 'Glowing Dude'.
Unfortunately, it came down to a tactical advantage. The only reason we took it away was because we thought we might be able to gain some insight into Michael Popper's addled brain. The potential advantage was weighed against the immediate...
cloudwolf wrote: The "..." implies mid sentence. I know, but the voice acting treated the ellipsis as a full stop. That's what it sounds like to me, anyway.
Sod the suit. That is a spectacular view of the FM-1500.
How quaint. Wiping people out? You can't be talking about the other night's events; we didn't kill or even touch a soul. Oh, no, my mistake. We did touch people. Gray kicked some Cypherites out of the room.
I haven't seen the text myself, but I thought the inherent bonuses that are now displayed were points, added (or subtracted) from your basic accuracy points. So let's say you have 50pts ballistic accuracy from the Handgun style, and anothe...
What the Agent said was a little confusing. The subtitle implies that the Agent was cut off mid-sentence, and was going to say something like: 'You are required to submit for interrogation.' But the voice pronounced it as if it was a compl...
I don't see it ruining combat. It might make some people boring to fight 'cos they'll be in an even stricter pattern than they are already, but it won't make anyone invincible. Accuracy is one thing, but what if the ability with the highes...
The Machine mission implied the Intruder is tall. So I think either the Agents that were ported in to deal with him were extra tall by design, or that was the only mistake in the cinematic.
A bit big for Neo, isn't he? Actually, he's a bit big for anyone. I can't quite work out the scale. When he emerges he's bigger than the door, and when he walks off at the end he looks huge. But when the Agents surround him he looks roughl...
This is way more significant than another mega bad guy. If my guess is right, this is the mysterious glowing guy that's been standing in the background of event and chapter banners from day one. He's probably also the reason we've seen Age...
Heh, I think Rarebit's computer might explode.
Ooh, I can see the EPNutjobs jump all over this one. But d'you know what'll happen then? They'll confront this Intruder, speak to it as if he's Neo, and then be obliterated by him. Oh yes, they're going to be sorely disappointed.
This mission can only have to do with one thing. And I don't like it. That is, I'm nervous about it, I don't hate the subject.
Let's keep the discussion in one thread this time. http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300018423
http://thematrixonline.station.sony...cs/9.1_high.wmv Oh my... You know, I think we may be in trouble.

Oi, shush you. I wanted to make a copy of ZAITSO and hand the original back to Cpahr. And whatever we may find out about Popper from this program, I sincerely hope we can return it to Cpahr as soon as we're done with it. The man needs help...

Ooooh! It may only be visual, but this opens up a whole realm of accessories to carry about our person! Next up: giant gold medallions around our necks. Though preferably not too sparkly.
Excitable sort, isn't she? Must be all the free coffee. And why on Earth did she have to scout for visitors all the way out in Mara? This had better not be another Wright Research scenario - I don't think I could stand another day as John...
I don't think Mystery Man is going to do anything against the Machines. I get the feeling they're harbouring him, or he's working for them. Possibly even controlling them to a degree.
Bah. Two more hours. http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300018365
It's the same error, yeah. As for seeing the character selection screen normally, it depends when you check: in a normal update I usually get authentication errors for half an hour, then manage to get to the selection screen (but no furthe...
I don't think we'll find out who Mystery Man is just yet, but we'll see him more, either in cinematics or referenced somehow in-game. I don't know if he can jack in, but I doubt it. Danielle Wright will make an appearance as an angry assas...
Hoorah! Thanks for the info. It's good to hear from you.
Nooooooooooo! We need yellow. d4shwear for the win!

It's not just about damage: the weapon classes vary in damage, re-use timer and accuracy. They're all just as deadly as each other, but in different ways.

Cheapen it? I'm suggesting we get duals as well, just so we can perform the higher-level Duelist moves. Free-fire ranged stuff would still be one-handed.
I know. I was trying to imply that their water is recycled urine.
Oi, I said don't make this thread about Zion and Merv weapons. We all know they need them but it's been discussed elsewhere. It needs to be discussed further, of course, but in another thread.
*Sings the rest of the song.*
The few of us who've received an FM-1500 have a problem: we only have one of them. The only tree that's built for the FM-1500 is, of course, the Duelist (Handguns) tree. However, all the most powerful moves require dual handguns, which we...
Everything in (New) Zion is recycled. Everything.

I'd wager that's filled to the brim with win. Not that I'd ever wear it, mind, but it'll keep a lot of people happy!
I would advise against joining a fleeting cause anyway. Not that the path to peace is fleeting, you understand, but do we need another band? I've spoken out against the fickle nature of many operatives before; flitting from one faction to...
