This'll be my third comment on the same subject (lulz spam much?), so I'll make it more of a discussion of what the cinematic means.

Basically, I dearly hope that this twist is handled with as much delicacy as can be affordable. I seem to recall quite a decent number of people declaring their devout opposition to the return of Neo, so here's to hopin' this little twist doesn't spurn a good sized crowd.

Whilst I wouldn't be opposed to Neo's return in one form or another, and precise explanation would be required (I really hope that the usual Amnesia doesn't come into play here). Also, even taking note of his siding with Zion before his death and his apparent ideas for the continuation of all life i.e. Man, Machine and Exile, after his death. I'll not be too happy about any return of his where he comes back to simply rid the world of the Machines and wake all humankind and does it... (fairly easy with the power that the 'wire frame man' used...) it would really just mean tying up all lose ends in a short time and basically end the story.

However I don't believe that that is what the writers would do and there will be much more to come. I have theories already about what may happen, but until further actions are displayed I would merely be making guesses...

But yeah. I think people need to stop being so narrowminded. You all knew when signing up and after watching Revolutions that he'd probably be back eventually (not to mention all the Christ metaphors surrounding the character).

So there's really no use crying about it.

Oh snaps, guess this means all those neo wannabes will cancel their accounts cause they can't be teh 1! lmao!!!

It doesn't matter, if this wire dude threatens the system I Teh 2 will have to punt him. And I will punt, I will turn all my Teh 2 powas up to max and punt him to teh small moon in teh night sky. Kick him so far up that he sees stars comes back down and lands on my punt again sending him to teh sun. pfft Neo's return? That isn't neo. That's the ones Source code. How it got out of the source Idk but it wont last long if it keeps killing System Agents.

It'll be interesting seeing this 'Wire Man' in-game... it will certainly look different...

I wonder if it is the RSI of someone jacking into the Matrix within a Matrix? Do RSI's have RSI's?

Christ rose from the dead to speak to a few people. Neo's thoughts came back as the fragments in the Race to find the One. The Neo ship has sailed.

What are the chances that's at least something of Neo and it's going to the fight club in Gracy (I think it was) to reclaim it's RSI?

Why Neo? (aka. Thomas Anderson).

The source code of "The One" is not necessarily related to its previous incarnation, in fact the wireframe could be the source code of The One searching for a new host (which may make sense as Zion and Machine are at war again, the balance that Neo put in place has become unsettled, the purpose of The One is perhaps necessary ("You are needed"SMILEY once more for a restoration of balance, but that "One" is not the same as "Neo" but the next iteration of The One).

Videos fake.

Longer dissertation pending, this is just a quick aside to note that it is very disturbing that the idea of "23 people starting again with nothing" after "Zion ... destroyed; its every living inhabitant terminated, its entire existence eradicated" is being called "saved Zion."  Remember, where we Zionists live now is New New New New New New Zion and none of them have ever been truly "saved," only one temporary save which Neo accomplished.  Killing 250,000 people so that 23 can start over in a new location is not "saving" a city.

Thread, We may not know who or what this newcomer to Megacity is, but I will tell you all this: he will not be controlled.  By anyone.

CK01, I understand that it wasn't your point and was only bringing to light that the Architect's words ("[door] leads to the salvation of Zion") have stuck in people's minds as accurately descriptive instead of being sardonic as they were intended.
