What they are? Hmm. They are organizations of factions, crews, and players centered around certain particular leaders and ideals. EPN follow "The Kid" and Shimada, whereas the cypherites follow Cryptos and Veil.
So share! If I'm not swamped I'll help.

"Server predjudice remains our second biggest stumbling block, are we big enough to tackle it?" Of course we are. Everyone would just acknowledge that Syntax pwns all and that would be the end of it. I'm indifferent, honestly. If it happen...
I get the feeling Rarebit likes to put on very public events every so often, just to remind us why private ones are so much more fun.
http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300006064 Anyone else been setting up RP craziness in the wake of Anome's death and a move back to the storyline?

I may be late in asking, but gosh darnit, someone's gotta see this! Would it be possible to implement cypherite/EPN missions without doing criticals every month and make a 5-org system? No new content, but new org tags and new controllers?
((The One isn't coming back, Neo will not be in this game. Ever.))

It's quite clear where this is going - absolutely nowhere. A bunch of naive idealists waving the Neo flag, like they do every so often.
Ok, now you see, that's a nice bunch of words and some half-attempted poetry, but there's no real reason given. Tell us again exactly why Neo is so important? Why does getting Neo back from the machines matter in the slightest? Shouldn't y...
I wonder what the purpose of posting a message to all the leaders of EPN factions directly on data node one is. Considering the name of this so-called operation, I imagine it will be a speech or two. Yawn. Perhaps if the speakers will be s...

And that feeling doesn't require you to be in character at all times. You can be part of a story, or create your own, without being unable to talk to people as -you-. I think the definition of 'serious' needs some work.
Pirathonite and I make attempts to RP when we're in and not PvPing. I've got a story going now (for which I actually need to go write another NR post, come to think of it) that he's a part of, and DesperAuto (who joined our crew entirely f...
Most definitely not true as I tested it with melee clothing. Started off with base Melee Acc 140 or so. Added 10% melee acc buff clothing. Checked the tab, Melee Acc stayed at 140.
Sweet stuff, it does seem to explain the "Bonuses" a little better to me. Couple things I noticed skimming over it: "These rounds are not zero-sum combat, which means that in each round you and your opponent can either be hit and hit, be h...
Clothes do not buff the "Accuracy" stat as stated in the combat tab. Putting on clothes that say "Accuracy Bonus" does not have any effect on the Combat Tab of your Character info, but the bonuses are still applied somewhere along the line...
Why join Winter Brood? Well, let's see. Their members are consistently good fighters the few times that I do see them engaged in such uncivilized activity; they also have some consistently good characters, stories, and events lined up; and...
The best hacker on Vector is probably Tony Jaa, followed by Bruce Lee, and then Jackie Chan and Jet Li tie for third.
Try hitting a martial artist who has hyper-deflect running, as well as a sakura bandana and maybe a troll's hide or some other such little buff. When the martial artist is using block or grab (as I tend to do), it doesn't happen very often...
Sort of wish I had taken a look at those routes myself beforehand.
Improved Hacking and Viral Deflect work, but then, if you want a good viral D buff, use the one on the Trauma tree, since that's generally what people run alongside FM. As I've stated before, Combat Auras do not work the way they should. C...
But the IS costs on those abilities don't matter because the abilities don't do anything! They don't stack, they're completely useless! It's like saying, "Hey, look, I can waste only a NOMINAL amount of Inner Strength to walk around and ge...
Last I tried using my FM tree, I had much beef with it. Here's mah problem: Combat Auras unstackable. Combat Aura 2.0 would rarely affect anyone on my team because their own trees - gunner, martial arts, whatever - all had "higher versions...

"We are used to it and most of us do wish that those incidents had never happend." The very idea that people can be inspired to violence by an organization acting in Neo's name is enough to bring the entire organization into serious doubt....
I guess it was some kind of protest. Always glad for the opportunity to kill more of them, though.
Maybe you could bump your threads with something more creative or interesting - or just with more than one word, eh? EPN = The Faction Whose Leader Would Not Die. Fun group I think.

Let's not pat ourselves on the back for taking on Tungsten's goons one at a time after she had fled. When confronted with anywhere from 5-10 Unlimit troopers and Tungsten herself, we had no hope of defeating them. What we need is a plan of...

Don't complain about the taskmaster drops, you KNEW there would be pvpers there all day looking for kills. If you're that interested in collecting the taskmaster heads, you'll just have to either fight off the zerg, or wait until a non-pea...
Out of curiosity, could you explain at all to us just -how- you broke the world by fixing the white hallways? I'm really interested in this now. Did trying to enter the world with a character cause it to crash, or did all the buildings tur...
All the stuff in this update made me feel that warm, happy feeling inside, like when you're hugging a puppy. Or throwing a puppy into a furnace. You know the feeling? Anyway, I was going to ask what exactly these props are going to be. Dat...
For the username, I'd suggest trying "Admin," "Raj," "Agent," "Architect," "Oracle," "DocRaj," "Sati," and "user."
Yeah, the multiple programs (numbers) thing was all a player event, not actually associated with 991 in any way. Also, 991 has no association whatsoever with Cryptos.
This definitely doesn't seem like a cypherite thing. I don't know why so many people jump on the bandwagon whenever they see something new and mysterious with vague references - It must have been Cryptos! The Cypherites! Ok, now that I've...
"Oh btw try http://01mainframe.com/admin it has username/password protection... dunno if it's a part of the game..." I bet it is. Maybe I'll try cracking the password.
I had "That which count like key within life XXX Where XXX is either "Are excellent" or "sleep beautifully." It, quite clearly, makes no sense whatsoever. I think the title serves to hint at all the different languages found within the tex...
I'm just not jacked in for these anymore. It's like they're downloading my work schedule and saying to each other "Ok, he's working today at 6:00. Let's have the event at 7.

He's almost as funny as Matarax.
The dialogue went something like this: Kellner: "Way to call your machine ops, Gray." *Agent Gray walks up to Kellner and stares him down* Agent Gray: "The necessary operatives were informed, Mr. Friedman." ..... Agent Gray: "Continue to p...
Too bad he didn't take any pictures of my sharp wit. It was obvious to everyone there that my snideness and sarcasm were vastly superior to his snippy retorts. ((Translation: ROFLMAO the title of the thread was him pwning me verbally.))
Rofl, HT. Matarax is awesome.
((Bluecode, just a thought, you may want to give credit to the images you've posted here, or show their original locations.))
Speaking of assassins, didn't the assassin sort of "die" in the Aqueduct? What else would be there that's of interest?
Besides. you're bumping his thread! Fool!
And of course, the only time I get in the screenshots is when I'm yelling "Come on you bastards!"
No prob, I was sort of hoping you'd post a snide comment in ours too.

I laughed too when I first saw it. Unfortunately, when the dots go from 1 to 81 but you can only see 16, it makes it kind of tough. Message Edited by Fatmop on 07.08.2006 01:28 PM
