Our operatives responded to an Unlimit attack on the Pendhurst-Amaranth plants in Southard several days ago. Very large numbers of Unlimit soldiers held operatives off around the perimeter, while their leader, named Tungsten, broke into the Pendhurst-Amaranth offices at the site, stealing blueprints of their other facilities. She was so powerful that operatives were not able to prevent her escape, and the huge mass of soldiers she left guarding her retreat posed a significant threat to civilians in the area. Fortunately, our operatives, working together with those from other organizations, were able to defeat the menace posed by this small army, and restored the area to its usual level of safety.

Let's not pat ourselves on the back for taking on Tungsten's goons one at a time after she had fled. When confronted with anywhere from 5-10 Unlimit troopers and Tungsten herself, we had no hope of defeating them. What we need is a plan of attack in case this happens again, and you can be sure that it will. Simply throwing large numbers of operatives at her had little to no effect at all. "In war, numbers alone confer no advantage."

There's no easy way to set up a rapid response system, since factions are not usually inclined to tell each other about their encounters with Unlimit. In my opinion, step one to defeating Anome's armies is simply to increase communication - so that when another attack like this occurs, we can more readily respond as a whole to the threat.

Each situation will be different, as different as the members of Anome's army are from each other. During this battle, every time she was cornered, Tungsten called on more of the soldiers to beat us back while she continued her tour of Southard. Eventually, the redpills in the area made a good team against the Unlimits - plenty of medics, a few people devoted to debuffs, and many, many tanks and gunners. If we'd had the same sort of team arrive sooner, with the right guidance, Tungsten would not be alive anymore.
