Well, I'm 50/50 on this one. One one side, there's a lot of nice new content and cool stuff.

However, what's being done to critical missions is absolutely unnacceptable.

"$info is no longer awarded for completing critical missions that you have already completed."

Well, that's wonderful. It fixes the Meet X sploit, but that wasn't that much of a big deal anyway - there are faster ways to make money. Now as a side effect though, you're both penalizing players for having done critical missions before the Archives came out, and rewarding people who grinded through the Archives without paying attention to the content. It's necessary to do each mission in the Archives several times to get all the items, and now, besides not getting any XP for it, I won't be getting any info either? Please. It was bad enough doing all that missioning where the reward was a 30 second effect or a clothing item, but now if I happen to want one of those items I don't already have, I have to grind for hours on end AND get absolutely NO info for it? You're kidding me. One of the biggest complaints I've heard lately is how so much content is delivered in grinds. I guess it was deemed a good decision to make the grinds even more painful and less worthwhile? Sigh...

It makes sense to me Bayamo. I'm a Merv, and I actually missed some of the Merv criticals. So I can go back, beat them, and get the info & xp for it. However, if I go back to a critical I've been awarded in the past, I don't get a double reward (only the progression toward the Archive loot, which is the purpose of the archival missions in the first place). Its just like as if I ran a critical with one of my faction members, beat it, got my reward. Its still going to show up in my critical missions, and I still have to beat it. However, the payout is withheld because I got it already. Its just another check on an exploit.

I'm currently doing the Machine org missions, and I'm getting my payouts. That's all I care about. If it was being withheld on missions I've never done in the first place, then I'd be pissed.

This patch sounds like its chock full of content for the 50s which is absolutely great news. Give those guys something to do. SMILEY Maybe next patch, we can go back and give some of the lowers more content to do (guys around *ahem* Level 3SMILEY? SMILEY

I'm such a slacker. Great work devs!

You'd have thought they'd have coded up some sort of system to detect whether the crit is an archive one or not. If it is, then it should pay out info no matter how many times run. Same goes for XP. And yes, they can already distinguish between current missions and archived ones... hence the [archived...] tag at the front when the controller talks to you...

 Pandora's Box Mission-Spawn Changes
Pandora box missions with high NPC numbers were causing significant amounts of lag--the ~30 NPCs per phase of the final mission were likely the cause of most of the mysterious, intermittent lag in north-central Downtown. NPC counts in the following Pandora's Box missions have been reduced; : arc 2, mission 2, "Walking Papers"; arc 3, mission 1, "A Key for Every Lock"; arc 4, mission 3, "Trial By Fire". In most cases, the level of the remaining NPCs has been increased by one.

Has the info reward for those mission stages been adjusted per NPC to compensate for the reduction in numbers?

whats the deal with the # of items you can carry that give you XP & info for trading in items? 1 or multiple?
I just forsee a possible problem with factions that I won't list here. But no matter what, 01 will become THE place to be from now on for pvp...with a meaning. great job.

Few good stuff but no DE bug fixed which is really affecting PvP at least MoTD it because ive only recently realized about this bug and it explains for many of my losses.  Also no find weakness bug fixed.

Yes it's all good except the mission info being taken away. So like myself i grinded through all the archive missions and i have the fly virus stuff. Now im starting to go through them again to get the Merv item coat. Im not getting xp as im 50 anyway but now the info for each mission is going to be gone too, its not really fair on the people who want to try and get the items. They still have to go through them missions like normal ones and kill the npcs and do the hard work, so what is the difference between that and a normal mission info reward.

I think it will work like the Archive books, so if you buy a Machine one and then turn Zion, you won't be able to use it. Remember, these things take you to a specific org area via a specific mission. So they would have to be three different objects to activate three different missions.

What exactly do these White Hallways do for me that makes them worth 100M?  I'm guildless and don't really have an interesting in joining a crew.  In fact, I have crew invites on auto ignore.  So as an individual, what benefit does this give me?  I don't think there's that many idiots around who will spend 100M on fluf, so this better do something worth the credits.

Heard update is to be delayed...came close to leaving, heard they will have a fixed DE...gave me back some hope. Find out some of the bugs are not repaired or yet new more annoying and upsetting bugs arrive, say good bye to Twaggy. so they delayed the patch big deal, you should be happy about this.  if they didnt delay it yal lwould be compalining about the extra bugs the game would have because they pomised to have it out on a certain date and could not fix the bugs in time, i would be happy that the patch take anotherr 3 months alongs as they fix the bugs and add content that appeals to their customers interests.

Death Effect Bug Fixes
We have fixed the following issues with the Death Effect:

  • The Death Effect now only affects Influences (things that give bonuses to Attributes, usually designated by a percentage) and has a maximum penalty of 30%.
  • The Death Effect wears off correctly now.
  • The Death effect timer no longer resets when you reconstruct and jack in.

i agree that the /ccr issue wasnt a good enough reason to delay the update. /bug still works fine i guess.. and most of the time the results of a ccr arent worth the time anyway. just a thought. that having been said, i generally will take delays over bugs any day. a couple days isnt a big deal, so whenever they wanna take a couple days to work out some bugs, thats probly for the best. and this time around we did get a bit of a bonus, they tackled the DE problem.
