I hope you're right guys, cause I am thinking that something else will go wrong on the patch like always. Don't know what it will be, maybe mission bugs that make sure you can't finish a mission (wow like that has never happened before) or that a bug they say it fixed..ain't actually fixed...

I will play along for now *cough* I mean OH YAY THE PATCH IS DELAYED FOR MORE FIXES I AM SO EXCITED!....

You can no longer become flagged for PVP while you are dead.

Amazing. After all the posts I've made in which 90 percent of the true PvPers agreed with and after sending you guys this 'bug' like what, 6 months ago at least, and explained to you how you should NOT consider it a bug, you've decided to fix it. You had a great oppurtunity with this to improve PvP on non-hostile servers by making rezzers flag if rezzing flagged players. I guess you've given in to the people that are too *CENSORED* afraid to PvP but want to run around unflagged for hours rezzing dead people turning what could have been fun PvP into a continuous and monotonous afair.

But then again I've been out of the loop (see my long standing sig below). I'm sure you MUST be planning on something for this.

I would have to agree. I never really understood why Rezzers don't flag. Surely that just defeats the point of PvP and just makes it an infinate loop of dead/rez/dead/rez/dead/rez.

i agree that the /ccr issue wasnt a good enough reason to delay the update. /bug still works fine i guess..

FYI, they are the same system. Typing /ccr just selects the "ticket" radio button, while /bug selects the "bug" radio button. So if /ccr doesn't work, neither does /bug.  And for when new content is sent to a live server, not having a working /ccr (/bug) system is one of the *worst* things you could have.

From what i see it is still set for tomorrow, we on't know until tomorrow if its delayed again because they find the issue when they make the patch go live during the downtime we can't access it. I am sure third time is a charm and we should get our patch tomorrow along with two criticals back to back to make up for last week being delayed.

They alreayd work the same as criticals by not giving XP the 2nd time you do it. The info thing will be the same with archives as they are stored critical misisons.

It would seem there are a number of these rooms, and that people are well... using them... alot...

I tried it with my machine alt and had the same problem.

I did try a normal mission and then aborted it, and found that I could get in... don't know if that is related or not...

Thats just the mission bug. Start a new mission, abort it, and then try using the key before... its worked everytime for me when I do that.

Now onto what I think of the patch.....

I found myself incredibly dissappointed with the special area. From what I hear the zion area has a dojo, places to sit etc etc. The Merovingian area is full of close to identical rooms, which would be fine, if there was just 1 large area with lots of seats you could all chill out in. Likewise in the Merovingian area, there is nowhere to duel. There are dungeons occaisonally (there are 2 instances, both indentical layout, but 1 with more 4 more rooms), however these dungeons look nothing like those from the films... they have doors which look very easy to break through, they are on the same floor, etc etc.
There are no windows at all. This is a tad dissappointing again.

However more than any of these things, what annoys me the most, is that for a room that costs 100million, and would typically be used for RP and large meetings, you can only take a team of 6 to it. The hellclub trick does NOT work. When you attempt this trick, the new player gets stuck in the hallway. To combine with this, as mentioned before, there are no rooms with 6 chairs in, and often the sofas face the wall, rather than the more open side of the room.

On a + note the 01 content seems to be an improvement! SMILEY

1) Most of the doors open. I went through any random door (not the labled one) and it exited me and still showed EXIT being 1500metres away. What is the strategy for picking my doors?

Don't complain about the taskmaster drops, you KNEW there would be pvpers there all day looking for kills.  If you're that interested in collecting the taskmaster heads, you'll just have to either fight off the zerg, or wait until a non-peak hour and collect a taskmaster team.  I think the pvp is excellent in 01 right now, glad to see the construct actually being used for its intended purpose.

Basically the key is an item, much like certain PB items, you go to downtown (with a team should you desire) and use the key. It then sends you to a random place, and which ZAPS you to the white hallways, in much the same way the Archive vendors do to the constructs. From there, you have an AMAZINGLY non-canon white hallway, with Corners and other non canon things, with a further waypoint to the door, which leads you and your team to the zone. Again ZAP.

To leave, just head outside the area, and then to another random door.

And fatmop is right, i was killed by some merv, and Uttered "It is inevitable"

I've been searching on this, but so far haven't seen anything specific about this...

 Since the update 46, the Coder patch daemon seems to be having problems.  Before, it would start to buff their master with a few things.  Now, it just keeps trying to put buffs on, but they never actually go onto you, so it keeps trying over and over.  I'm not sure if it can successfully put buffs onto other people, I haven't used it that much since finding this problem.  So far I only have the use of the earliest of the patch daemon in the ability tree (the "1.0" version), as I'm not very high level with the character yet.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Might have something to do with the fact these arn't meant to be the white hallway. That was an infinate hall with infinate doors leading to an infinity of different locations inside the simulation. These are the white hallways which lead to selective locations and constructs.

they should change the hallways to not require teams. everyone is busy bitching about the appearance of the various org areas.. they dont like this chair or that color or that bench. im thrilled to know that the ENTIRE mxo community are a bunch of fufu silkyboy professional interior decorators, apparently.

who cares what they look like? they dont look too bad. the thing is, if these are areas for meeting places and RP and so on what in the HELL is the point if you can only have a team of 6?

the mxo playerbase is small, yes, but jeez =D

Anyone haveing a HUGE new death effect bug?

Why would my clothing be taking penelties due to DE?

There is a hidden bug that will leave you with invisable penalties that you are not even aware of unless you check your stats in the bonus page. A bug that effects ALL of your stats. I was running around numerous times yesterday not knowing that there was a perma penalty applied to me affecting EVERYTHING from accuracy,damage,resistance,super jump even ability coding and compiling. Yes EVERY stat on your bonus page.

If Im the only one with this bug I doubt it, most of you probably arent even aware of this but it has something to do with reconstructing and coming back from LA with no DE icon.

Far worse than the minor annoyance of a 2% penalty bug that we had before. This is like 20%


And I ask again ..... Why would my clothing resistance such as melee, thrown, viral and balistic resistance be suffering penalties from DE? There are no abilities giving the resistance its my clothing. Somethings really wrong here.

After reconstruction I only have +191 resistance with full res suit when I should have a consistant +240.
When the DE fades your back to +240 provided you dont have the hidden bug I speak about that WONT go away, in that case you will remain at gimped resistance among everything else.

Will someone please verify that this is happening to them. Put on a max res suit and reconstruct with DE and check your resistance. I have pics of my stats and they are mindblowing. The stats dont add up. literally

My MKT buff went from 30 to 26... that's lower than it used to be with fuller DE. Every stat I have is affected, it's incredibly frustrating. I got home yesterday at 8 PM, logged on to do the patch. After I went into 01 to check the new drops out, I died once, reconned, and saw my stats were really messed up... logged back out. I'm sad to say that this extra wait for the patch doesn't seem to have been worth it, Perma DE is back and worse than ever!

This is a HUGE problem. Im am relieved to know that I am not alone here. I wasnt sure if it could have had something to do with me restating yesterday or if it was accociated with my current load out.

I could tell that something was fishing yesterday but couldnt cornfirm what it was until I tried coding some abilities for a faction mate and to my suprise I couldnt code any abilities higher than level 35. I soon discovered indeed I had been running gimped out all day.

I did some more testing this afternoon and unfortuanatly Ive come to the conclusion that the only way to avoid this perma DE is to log out after ever death because sometimes it ONLY affects certain attribs for some reason especially accuracy.


Id love to have the old DE bug back right now. I actually knew how to fix that without logging.

Actually................... This is part of a much bigger problem.

Anyone notice buffs being randomly removed from buffer as well?  If you havent then you might not be paying attention.

I was fighting a MA and as soon as we interlocked I lost EVERY buffer in my buffer bar. With the exception of Speed Tactic and Hackerstyle (which I currently had loaded). My whole buffer was just activated minutes before and EVERYTHING cleared upon interlock. Determination, Accuracy Buff, Merv Boon, ect.

This is also happening when traveling through hardlines and especially when teleporting to 01.

These bugs are related somehow. The PERMA DE comes from it dissappearing from your buffer bar yet the penalties still apply at whatever the percentage was when it glitches and disappears leaving you with Perma DE.

The most ironic thing is is that the 2% DE bug that everone was complaining about and supposedly fixed still exists.

In fact you are very fortunate if your ONLY left with the 2% lingering as compared to 16% being applied permanently.

Not to mention the NEW effects of combat glitch that you dont have the animation but still have EOC.

EOC has been around forever, pehaps we can get a npc at every hard line until a proper fix is provided?
Its a cheap fix but I dont expect an EOC fix anytime soon, and quite frankly Im tired of running thru alleyways to find a NPC to clear EOC. Seriously its not cool. We need nps at every HL.


And once again how is my clothing resistance affected by DE??



Maybe its time that a consideration of removing DE and EOC all together from this game.

If they cant be fixed take it out, PLEASE.  CR2 has been out quite a while now and these gamebreaking glitches are worse than ever. Its ruining PVP atm.


Would it really be that bad to take out DE and EOC entirely?  It couldnt be any worse than this. I dont think taking them out will break game, but to leave as is this is truly gamebreaking.


Can we get a roll back on the "DE fix" for the time being PLEASE?    Ill take the 2% anyday over this.

I was really not impressed with the Zion construct. I mean come on dreary buildings we see all the *CENSORED* time in missions, a dojo, well, lets just go to international, the firing range, okay may be cool for a few screens, but you cant actually DO anything there.

   100 million info for some rooms that we could see on mission and use a mission team for a meetting. After seeing the merovingain construct, a place that is NOWHERE like the rest of the game, and then ours... can we get SOMETHING done about that??

I get that alot, but I find moving to a new HL then leaving my mission team makes them work again nearly every time. (I always tend to end up at Rogers Way Central though for some reason!)



Oh, and I experienced perma-DE with a friend the other night -- not fun!
