Right i wanna put this straight now - I've heard so many times that "Broins the best hacker on vector" honestly i dont get how that can be true.... i mean rarely ever do i see him online and when i do he hasnt killed me 1on1 and i dont actually get how any hacker can be named 'the best hacker on vector" because anyone can kill anyone depending on the load the status, the defense, resistance so who actually thinks there can be a best person at a certain load? and who actually thinks it a certain person cus i know im good at my load but i know for a fact that im not the best... my view is there isnt a best - What do you people think?

The best hacker on Vector is probably Tony Jaa, followed by Bruce Lee, and then Jackie Chan and Jet Li tie for third.

i agree with Yas in a sense yet, you see the name you written are all reds? and the people who mainly compete in hacker tournaments i guess thats one of the main ways to judge is and the 3 people you put up are the people i'd put up as well proberly... as well as many other good hackers on vector such as Orion1, Chryl and many many more. Your right tho... you only know how well someone does with there load when u fight them in pvp (or popularity)

I think really its mixed between pvp/duels/tournaments. In the vector Olympics i had to beat Broin and it finished 2-1 me in the end but each fight was down the the last roll of combat it was that close. J1GOKU's strategy took a lot of flack in the olympics but strategically if its something that pisses people off its gotta be good in some way and j1 is just in general a good hacker because you need to be able to back up a good strategy with execution. 2soon is just teh pwn. I don't think i've seen anyone rock hacker the way he does.

I've always remeber 2soon as a really good hacker but never had chance to duel her... As for broin its either his active and different time zones or he's a bit inactive so never had much chance to duel him either.. as for J1 i've dueled him/her a fair few times first set i won mostly... but second time i didnt win once.. its crazy but i tend to change my load every time when fighting other hackers to give a variety of strageys. Ye the run away straigey is fun because it does anoy people i mean *poop* it anoyed me.. trick is dont waste your I.S on debuffs when u know there going to run away, try stunning then rooting or rooting or bottle neck just so your allowed enough time to debuff.. and since in cr 2.0 hacker is far from useless in combat i'd easierly say break there evade if there using that straigy because chances are there not going to be good in combat.. but that might not be the case hehe -KD

Its not that i think im the best dag if thats what your trying to imply (I'm far from it i can tell you that) i just wanna know peoples opions on who actually thinks there is a best on the server... not just with hacker but every load in general i mean how can you define best in a game of chance? - KD

I'm just saying where there's a will there's a way. Email's in game do wonders for working around scheduling problems.

Best Hackers on Vector - You if are judging by one on one Kills then Broin and 2late are clearly heads and shoulders above the rest
In team fighting, I carry that distinction.....
Its really hard to judge hackers as the best because of the various loadouts that can be used.
As the patches has gone through their convulutions(sp?), the Virologist has changed quite a bit. Network attackers are the most deadliest in team fighting, whereas the Arbalest still gets the nod in PvP.
However, I have a plan that could alter the balance in Vector (and I aint telling anyone except Broin *smile*).

How to be a good hacker in five easy steps:
Load Disruption Field and Vector (that'll floor your opponent's VD).
Load DoTs, specially the auto-hit in interlock ones (Plague Zones and Code Infection).
Load Slow and Bottleneck.
Alternate between Speed and Power, speed to land debuffs, power for attacks.
Hack away.

Speed to power is worthless for DOTs; they do the same damage regardless of what tactic you hit them on.
In PVP the Artillerist or Vector load works well (if you don't go Howi as team support), but for hacker v hacker I found in Rec olympics that Ballista + Vector can work better than most Vector / Arbalest / Despoiler loads.

The problem I've found while playing hacker is that it's hard to land hacks, which is why the -viral defense in the despoiler tree looks appealing. You also get bottle neck which is a good power to stop runners. Not as useful for duels but it's handy for everyday PvP. Ballista works better out of interlock but the nukes are better in IL (they do more damage, plus they're AoE, the only problem is the IS cost). It kinda sucks that Power does not affect the damage of DoTs, I'm pretty sure Power does affect the MKT DoTs and every other hacker attack, I'd have to double check though.

This is correct. The thing was, as im sure you knew and saw, was when CR2.0 was released onto the test servers, you could land a hack on speed tactic (i.e. gained from the extra accuracy speed gives) and then switched to power and it adjusted the damage the target recieved per tick. They fixed this up, but it seems like in the process they broke the attributes link between the tactic and hacker abilities.
However what I do not get is that you are still able to do this with most attacks (seen alot in interlock) where you use an ability on speed, and just as it flashes green you 'spam' the power tactic to get the increased damage, then switch back to speed to reap the extra accuracy benefits. So why did they not attempt to fix this too?
