The Freeze abilities do have chances to be broken by damage, 1.0 is 100% chance and 2.0 is 50% I think Pacify can also be removed by damage, I'm assuming you use DoTs because they are in the same area as the Pacify abilities?

NPC's doing 1 damage is due to them switching to block before the attack goes through. I hate hackers, mainly Utility Hackers that can follow you and cast a Hack, can Hack you if you've HJ'd away and are extremely capable of following you...
