What item in game which is cheap (roughly less than 2,000i) gives the best chance of getting bit 7's.

Invisibility belt give all code bits, quite randomply so try that. Try also with a lockpick bt I am not sure about tht.
I had trouble getting 7's too, so I did some shopping around. I found an Item vendor (Alsaud, close to Mara C), and decompiled a couple of each item there. I found that Data Node Locator Handheld gave quite a few, sometimes up to 3 at once.
I just buy some cheap cloths at a vendor in Apollyon. I get my bit's after decompile them and pay around 400-800 max per. cloths.
img>Level 5 guns from vendors usually give a wide variety of bits.
I found that Data Node Locator Handheld wil give you more bit 7's than other items. When i decompile them they breakdown like this for me.
