Is MxO featured on any of their banner images? I know it wasn't on the Fan Faire one.
Edit: At least the maintenance did something this time. The list of users online (at the bottom of the front page and category pages) isn't filled with non-breaking spaces anymore, so those pages no longer take up 250% of my screen!

I did do a picture using a screen shot taken by Rarebit from a live events post and did the whole 'The Truce is over' text in as best as I could match up to what the '2nd Anniversary' text was like but it went un-noticed. o.O

To be fair, it may have something to do with the fact they haven't been updated in awhile.

Problem with updating the front page is that it's a flash, not so simple as just doing an image and cutting/pasting it onto another.
