What would you like us to do

here at Ronin are a little confused, we get slated for farming, we get slated for pvp, we even get slated for RP, rp in an event that any one of us can spawn by tapping.  Here's your chance to say what you would like Ronin to do.

Please try and be constructive.

we get slated for farming - On a hostile server? /shrug Kinda expect that tbh.

we get slated for pvp - You do? Why?

we even get slated for RP - Honestly, slated for rping in what sense? I'm a little sketchy on that so if it's in reference to the recent Live Events thread posted with our latest Live Event, you can't complain about people's characters disagree or are disgusted by the actions someone took during that event because that is the very nature of roleplaying. Your character, and your actions, will always conflict with someone, somewhere.

No one can tell you how to run your faction, just do what you will.  As long as you and your faction members are happy, there's no reason to listen to anyone else. 

As Yas mentioned, if you take certain actions in the middle of a very public event, you concede that those actions are open to both praise and condemnation.  In the more recent case, there were plenty of reasons to come down on your actions, but thus is the nature of RP.  You shouldn't immediately reel back onto the defensive and become exasperated over those who choose to call you on things.  If you've explained them as they're true to you, then that's all you can do (not intentionally rhythmic).

I really don't know why anyone would get mad at Ronin for choosing to farm or not PvP.   PvP is not the ultimate goal of the game.  This is defined by the individual(s), as per the wonderful tool of autonomy.  There is the paradox of not PvP'ing on a hostile server, but again, what you do is entirely up to you.

I've previously stated my strong, in-character concerns with Ronin, and they have no place here.  However, it goes without saying that my concerns shouldn't become yours if you're just going about your business as you see fit.

If I were you, I'd ask for this thread to be deleted, Ian.  There's no reason whatsoever to search amongst the opinions of others for the manner in which to lead your faction.

we at ronin get slatted because we dont pvp but when we do pvp because we have an active faction we have numbers and lots of them we get slatted for pvpin i think thats part of the point ian was trying to get accross

all members of ronin do what they want when they want and are quick to help faction members like most other factions do

when one of our members asks for help can we be blamed for helping mob handed just because alot of us are on at the same time

Dont listen to what people outside of your faction say Ian,  follow your gut instincts, and do whats best for your own members.  Somebody will always have something negative to say about your faction and you can't please everyone, all the time.

For the record, myself and DE  hold no bad feelings against your faction and would like to keep it that way.

The party line up until this point has been; "We're Ronin, we'll do what we want, when we want.", and so should it remain.  Don't waste time concerning yourselves with the comments of those who have nothing better to do than moan about your numbers 'spoiling' the PvP.  It's neither your fault, nor your problem.
