Missioning provides more than enough $i to level up your abilities, add to that the $i you loot from dead NPC's and selling the crap you pick up from them. Perhaps it's not the game that sucks but the player?

Personally I liked the sequals. They had their issues, true, but looking at the depth of the world in the first (Humans=Good - Machines=Evil / Black and White) compared to the sequals (Machines/Programs/Exiles/Humans all want to live) show...

Pretty sure Walrus said at the party they didn't have the resources (Personnel) to merge the servers and databases etc.. We're in maintenance/stagnate mode at the moment.
