I play SWG More then Mxo nowdays but i almost fell off my chair when i came across this thread on the SWG Boards posted by the developers.
I dont know if many of you have played SWG before but i think after the CU and NGE asking them to vote for SOE in a competition wasnt going to go down very well.
Just look at some of the replies in the thread.

The hell is TCG NGE and CU? I dont play that game, never have. Sounds like they are just as bitter as MxO players. Just theres a whole lot more of them. SOE is damaging its credabilty more and more. To the point were they release a game and no one will play because they expect crap already.
I really dont care if MxO shuts down. I just play it to shoot people in the face with red lighting from the sky. I wont be switching to a new MMO because I am lazy and dont want to level up. Ill just stick with Call of Duty 4 & World at War.
I have a good idea why they didn't post.. So I posted it for them on Saturday:
Ha! SOE got owned. Not surprised; Ironclad is really good. I hope they win, but unless they manage to beat out Konami, I don't think they have a chance.

Wait you have to buy the expansion and then buy the cards as well? Thats just beyond stupid and anyone who pays for that is stupid. Who in the hell came up with that idea in the SOE department? Who ever it is should be fired. That is just a terrible marketing stradegy. "Hey try Star Wars Galaxy for 15 bucks a month but if you want the full experince you gotta buy this card game expansion and buy the cards as well. No I promise its fun because you play a game while you play a game."

The CU - Was like CR 2.0 Being introduced to the game.
The NGE - They made Jedi a playable class in an era when they're meant to be extinct rumored to have cost SOE $70million in subscriptions over 4-5 years.
SOE launched a pack in which u can buy all the expansions and get an ingame vehicle for $9.99
The TCG you dont have to pay for and with an active sub they give you 5 free Boosters a month where you have a chance to get a loot card to claim an item ingame.
They've stopped releasing new items/structures ingame because the TCG is a gold mine, i know people who have spent $2000 in days on the TCG and then swapped the stuff ingame for credits.
It's the equivalent of Buying credits for money just the money is going through SOE.
