Reason why it waits, is that the server is assuming bad lag, like if you load a bad web page. My router had rebooted once, and everything froze. Connections re-established 15 seconds later, and I was still able to playing. Else its going t...

This is 2 of my small systems spliced together. I've had real good MxO experiences with a very very similar rig, although I don't play with super useropts. This will run MxO fine. (All prices from Newegg) Motherboad: Asus P5B-VM SE : $74.9...

Out of randomness, I tested running MxO in a VMWare machine (they have directx now) and it runs as if I have an GeForce 3. Not worth it anyone who randomly thinks of it.
Seems to work with my Vista just fine. However, I run my MxO with XP SP2 compatibility, and Disable Desktop Composition. phi wrote: So no DST then? I haven't tested DST with other timezones outside of US and Italy (was testing it with SEPE...
There is no internet or network functions in this code. The MCT time is a basic math calculation that I came up with, which uses the computer's time zone. Without looking at the code I believe its something like this (-8 - (currenttimezone...

Update: After a couple of days of crash-free stability, Vista fell right back into its old tricks. So. Quickest, easiest fix for crash-to-desktop has been to simply disable the dumb Desktop Window Manager. You can do this temporarily, if y...

I dunno what happened, I didn't see the original post, but what I had meant was I couldn't call MxO from via ShellExecute() (nothing to do with exploiting in any form, its just programming jargon), a windows API call. I apologize if a pers...
Well, since no one has really complained, I'm currently working on the "Jack-In" system. I decided since I can't just call the game directly (anti hack / hook stuff), I thought it would be cool to load several shortcut files in the folder...

Thanks for reminding me. Dell's driver for notebooks are heavily outdated. If you're running Vista, you're seeing the crazy face issue. If you're running XP, I could probably write you up a updated driver.
178.13 Drivers (sept 25) are good. No indoor issues. I move that this post be closed and thread name to reflect that. Keep it for reference and for the hotfix incase it ever returns
This is more of a informational post than question. I plan to keep updating this as long as I play, with updates on the NVIDIA driver side and its compatibility with MxO. (For techies: I use driver sweeper to remove all NVIDIA drivers befo...
