Even since I got new headphones, I don't get music in the game. I'm not entirely certain there's a connection, but it happened at the same time, so I assume there is. I have no idea why this would happen, or what settings I could change to fix it. What could I do about it?
I looked for the Techical Issues forum, but couldn't find it. Either I'm going blind or it's gone. If there is one, mods, then please move this thread there.
So, again, I'd like to be able to hear the music again. So, if anyone knows a way that might fix it, I'd really appreciate it.

Does that help? (the quick-summary solution is to type "/radio stop" into the chat box)
If that doesn't help we need to know:
Can you hear any sound or nothing at all?
What sort of Headphones? (USB / regular)
What sort of soundcard?
How are the headphones connected? (front pannel, rear of card, onboard socket)
Are the headphones in the correct socket?
Did you install any other programs with the headphones (a sound manager program, even drivers for other things... like an update for your soundcard or keyboard)

I tried that. Didn't work.

I can hear sound effects, but no music.

Not USB.
What sort of soundcard?
Yamaha AC-XG WDM Audio

In the, uh, back.
Are the headphones in the correct socket?
Yes.

Not that I recall.
Are you running MxO Windowed or Full Screen?
Fullscreen.
I also downloaded WMP 11, and that codec registry file. The original solution in that thread you posted was to redownload WMP 10, but my computer wouldn't install it. Maybe because I already had that version, and I don't know the proper way to reinstall it. I don't know much about installing things, I'm stupid, I know. Anyway, I downloaded WMP 11 instead, but that didn't work. Maybe redownloading WMP 10 would have worked if I had done it successfully.
I think I'll update my sound drivers, or something. It probably won't make things any worse.
