Do players' reactions have any influence on how you mold the story? For example, with how the Machine organization on Recursion is split in two as far as their beliefs go?

I'm currently Machine and my crew is a Machine crew. If I grind to Zion, then will my whole crew change to Zion since I'm the captain, or would my crewmates also all have to grind to Zion and then reform the crew?
