Aye, bit meh that only those who can attend fan faire get it but hey, never say never.

To get this thing, I only need to buy a ticket to the Faire online, fill out the online form, etc, and it'll be granted to my character(s) ? I don't actually have to attend? And it works for the $40 version, right?

To be fair, it is a faily unique looking clothing. And considering less people may be seen with that than the Assassin mask (from what we have read on the forum), the buffs wont matter. And a 'SOE' logo on the back or front may have added to it though to help it be a bit more unique, mabey 'Fan Faire '07' instead 
.. well, at least it's an ugly shirt. lol I can't attend FF, and I'd rather not pay $40+ for an in game item.

Well, I kinda want it just for the sake of having it, but I'm definitely not forkin' over $39 for it. One of the people that goes has to promise to show me the buffs though! Even though it's probably not anything that can be used in pvp without an equal or better substitute.

From what I understand, pre-registering give you the item, actually attending gives you a card with 2 beta trial keys for any 2 new online games coming out next year....

So from what I understand if you do pre-register, pay, but don't attend you would still qualify to get the item. Just a heads up since I know I got a few people asking about that.
